He quickly slapped his hands over his ears as Maeve started yelling at Matt and started to try and walk right out of the bathroom just to see if it was any quieter. He stepped out the door and froze, nope, not quieter. Students and teachers were everywhere, and everyone was talking at once. He backed away, pressing against the wall with wide eyes, then slowly slid to the ground, pulling his knees to his chest and tightening his grip on his ears. Hgv clenched his eyes shut and started mumbling, but he couldn't hear himself above the noise. He wanted to run, to bolt out the door and go home, but he felt trapped so he started there, rocking gently, unaware of his surroundings besides the noise.

Maeve's attention was caught when she glanced at a mirror, "Jesus Christ! How much food can get into one person's hair?!" She mumbled in surprise. Then she ran her fingers through her hair to get rid of most of the food stuck in her hair. Not only that, Maeve had to wipe her face clear of the muck on it. It took her a moment to notice the disappeance of Jonas. She frowned, ignoring her appearance and heading to the door. It didn't surprise her that Joey left. Maeve glanced down at her friend. She walked around him then slid down the wall slowly until she was sat down. Maeve ruffled Joey's hair to catch his attention, "Hey, Mister?"

He jumped in surprise when she ruffled his wet hair and opened his eyes, staring out at the mass of students walking through the halls. He was breathing fast, eyes wide like a lost puppy and his fingers twitched. He didn't reply, just let out a whimper and hid again, mumbling about wanting to go home.

"Who said you could go ruuning off, eh?" Maeve asked with a pretty teasing tone, but she was generally worried about her friend. At his mumbles, Maeve nodded, "I do too, but I probably wouldn't hear the last of it if my mum saw me like this." She chuckled lightly then glanced at Joey, "Hey, when the others come out, we can head home - how 'bout it Joey?" Maeve's features consisted of a smile as she spoke. "Sounds good. Eh?"

He tried to stop shaking and managed to give a small nod, lifting his head and looking over at her hand, chewing his lip. He was still nodding without realizing it, feeling sheepish talking to her alone like this, he was afraid of saying anything and he looked at his feet, forgetting his shoes back in the bathroom, Doll probably had them, he didn't know. The clothes in him weren't familiar and smelled like perfume, he wrinkled his nose up against it and shook his head repeatedly.

Maeve was glad that she managed to get an answer from Jonas. "Brilliant!" Maeve grinned then looked at Joey's feet, "Plannin' to go barefoot today then, hm Joey?" She teased, nudging Jonas' side with her side - being sure to be at least a little softer than usual. "Want to sit here for a while, while we wait?" Maeve asked. In honest, she was used to not getting responses from those she talks to - namely animals though.

Rose put her phone in her pocket and looked around at her friends. She saw how distressed Jonas was, and just wanted to get him back to Harley's house. "Guys, I'm going to go outside and lead all the teachers away, I'll text you Maeve when I'm ready and you help get everyone out the front doors, okay?" She asked, looking around for confirmation. She is rarely the one to take control, but she felt it had to be done. She left the bathroom out into the halls and saw three gym teachers. She began racking her brain of what to say, and an idea flung to her mind. "Hey! Some seniors are egging the school's trophies!" Rose yells, getting all the teachers, and most students attention. They reacted perfectly, dropping what they were doing and running over the the cabinets. They were all the way in the other direction, giving her friends enough time to escape. Rose jogged to keep up with the teachers, and texted Maeve 'NOW'.

Breaking Down

He suddenly felt like crying and bit his lip, keeping it to himself. He just worried even more as Rose ran off, what if she got lost? Or caught? He whimpered and held his head. He stopped replying at all to Maeve and stayed there, frozen in his whirl wind of thoughts that didn't make any sense and onto frustrated him more. Why couldn't he think right? This wasn't supposed to happen to normal people...he wasn't normal, might as well stop trying. He sucked in his breath and hugged his knees.

Matt ♂ - 17 ♋ || The Joker

The sound of squealing sneakers echoed through the hallway as Matt tried to peel Doll off the wall to run, and
then try to pick Jonas up off the floor by his shirt. With all the teachers close by, it would get easy to get caught
if they figured something was up. Running passed the lunch room, stepping in what looked like spaghetti sauce
on the way, he groaned inwardly. His shoes: the only clothing item that didn't have a speck of food was now a
red mess. As he rounded a corner right in front of the front doors, he waited behind a wall to avoid the school's
cameras and allowing them all to catch up with each other.

Maeve nodded her confirmation to Rose at the plan. This will be fun, Maeve pulled out her phone, awaiting the text signalling to run. At the pop-up "NOW" Maeve was all over the case. She helped getting Jonas to his feet, "C'mon Joey! Get running!" She grinned before dashing to the doors, holding Jonas' arm in one hand, and her messed up jacket in another. See, Maeve was skilled at running - even more so at texting while running for her dear life. She swiftly texted Rose a small "Thanks! " as she ran. Slipping slightly where her foot made contact with a pile of ice cream. "Damn!" She growled, before regaining her posture.
