Emerald scowled and gave Envy a slightly hard nudge with her heal as the stallion started moving. He stood again. What was with him today? She dearly loved her stallion, but he had mood swings like a teenage girl. "Yea. She joined the Hood today. Or was it yesterday?" She shrugged. "Doesn't matter I suppose." she looked back up at Frank as she started stroking Envy's coat.

Frank nodded with a smile "Well i guess we'd better be off then" he said after a few minutes of awkward silence, he still had feelings for Emerald but obviously nothing was going to happen between them, it couldnt, it wasnt possible.

Emerald gave a small smile, though it did not show with it's usual happiness. "Yea." she said softly before turning Envy . She took in a deep breath. "Frank..." She sighed and rubbed her forehead. She didn't know how to put her thoughts into words.

Frank shifted Diad over and clicked him forward, the stallion walking obligingly after his friend. Frank rubbed the back of his neck and looked up at Emerald as she said his name "Mhmm.." he said as an answer.

Emerald stayed silent for a moment as she thought about how to put her words. "I haven't forgotten about you, you know." she said quietly. "It's just things are hectic now and...and..." She sighed and blinked back tears. She couldn't bring back Casper and she knew she had to move on. But how long is the question that lingered in her mind. How long until the aching pain went away and she didn't feel guilty every time she thought of Frank and that one perfect moment they had shared the night she had snuck away to see him.

Frank chuckled "Nobody forgets me" he answered apprehensively, not knowing what she was on about until she carried on speaking. He frowned trotting beside her and looking at her "I dont care that things are hectic, yes there will be problems but im sure we can get through them....together" he said solomly "Emerald i just want to be with you.....forget about the hood and forget about Guy, just come away with me, stay with me" he pleaded.

Emerald gave a small smile. "I can believe that." she joked back. Her eyes widened slightly at his next few sentences. Leave everything. It was tempting, and she almost instantly replied yes but she bit her tongue to stop herself. The Hood needed her. She couldn't just leave them to face everything alone. She frowned. "I'll make you a deal." she said slowly, wondering if she should continue talking. But her tongue was quicker than her mind this time and she kept talking. "Let me finish helping the Hood and if everything's fine after that, I'll come with you." she said and looked up at him.

Frank chuckled, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, his blue eyes seeming to regain their natural shine "I accept..." he answered holding out his hand for her to shake, his smile growing all the time as he did so.

Emerald smiled and took his hand. "Good." she replied and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. Her smile faded as she looked around. Rebecca wasn't there. Emerald sighed and pulled Envy to a halt. She looked back. The tree house was still in sight. She took in a deep breath. "Rebecca!" she called. "Get princy bound up again and follow us to the house!" She rubbed her forehead with her free hand. All this shouting was killing her head.

Frank nodded and grimaced as she shouted, looking back behind him pulling Diad up aswell "You really need to stop with the shouting, its already giving me a headache" he joked, rubbing his forehead.
