Chris jerked awake, panic clogging his sleepy voice. "What? What's going on?" he garbled, standing up so quickly his head swam with dizziness. He hurried to part the leaves and see Arowin ride wash with Jay. Confused, he headed down to the prison to ask Emerald or Frank. When he stepped out onto the platform, the forest went silent. No birds, no crickets. Just darkness. And then- his final vision disappeared, his breath smuggled. Cold hand clasped his hands together in a bond so tight he tried to cry out in pain. "Keep quiet, or I'll kill them all. If you obey me, everything will be all right," a smooth voice hissed. Chris' knees buckled, and he realized he was drawn to the voice. He believed it. He quit struggling and allowed himself to be lead blindly into through the trees.

Sam lead the man back to his temporary hideout, a niche in the branches of two tangled trees. The man had listened to him. When Sam spoke, people had to listen. Working quickly, he had two assistants tie the man o the tree.

Stephan sat cramped in his position. He looked at Rebecca. "Bitterly familiar, isn't it," he joked. "I never learned your name," he added.

Rebecca hissed as the man suddenly appeared back at the hideout. She had to do something and fast. She glanced wildly around for her bag with it's flame bombs but that was behind the intruder. She slowly rose to her feet, "Your dead now." she said playing with the worlds on her tounge and streaching them ever so slightly to hide the quiver in her voice. Suddenly she lunged fully at him intending to knocking him over and make a breake for her bag. As she collided with him he had caught her. She was a tiny and slender built girl, with no strength at all but he was built for strength and as easy as that she had been caught. "Let go of me!" Rebecca shouted hoping to draw the attention of Emerald and Frank. Her heart stopped as she remembered the prince locked in his cell. With all the strength she could muster Rebecca bit the intruder hard forcing him to let go. She could taste his blood in her mouth and she spat and ran. This was something Rebecca was good at, running foe her life. She quickly outdistanced the intruder and rushed to the prison to where Emerald and Frank where. "Run!" she shouted and hurried to the prince's cell. She quickly kicked the key to his cell under his door and then ran back to the first door to the prison and hurried out before jamming it. Hopefully once they were hone he could get out. Rebecca then bolted for the stable but again she felt dark and silent hands grab her and yet again the feel of steal on her throat. This wasn't the same man though but it was easy to tell that he was on the strangers side.

Emerald heard Rebecca shout and stood up, the dagger clenched in her fist. She was about to go look for the girl when she came running up. "What's-" she started to ask but Rebecca cut in with a word that made her confusion only greater. "Run." Emerald nodded and made a dash for Envy, quickly throwing open his stall door and mounting up bareback like normal. She gave Envy a small kick and the stallion came out of the stall back towards the others. When she saw the man grabbing at Rebecca, she scowled. She knew they were in a too small of a space for her to stay on her horse so Emerald quickly dismounted and charged towards the man. In one quick movement, Emerald had taken a slice at the hand that held a knife against Rebecca's throat. Two of his fingers fell to the floor and Emerald smirked darkly as he screamed in pain. "Let her go." she hissed.

Saya goes to get Deuce and get home to bring her herbs and spices.

Rebecca gasped as the blade was pressed harder against her throat. She felt the sharp sting and the wet sticky blood begin to flow from the cut. Luckily it wasn't deep. "Run." she rasped to Emerald. "Get Arowin." she said.

Arrianna sat in the gardens enjoying the peace of the day. She watched the horse's grazing happily.

Saya returns and lets Deuce run around in the paddock. "What would you like to eat?"

Arianna smiled kindly. "Why don't you surprise me." she said happily and walked with Saya to the kitchen

"ok." Saya said and choose a recipe. She finishes and brings it out. "It's ready!"

Seeing the tall spires sticking out over the tree tops Jay turned to Arowin and said "let's be quick." she had a bad feeling making the hair on the back of her neck prickle uncomfortably.

Emerald growled and gripped her dagger tighter. "Not unless everybody is with me." she replied, her hateful gaze still locked on the intruder. She charged again, grabbing the man's hand with her left and twisting it at a painful angle. She ducked as he let go of Rebecca to throw a punch at Em. Emerald took that chance and grabbed Rebecca, quickly pulling her aside before the man could grab her again. She started to slowly back up, still facing the man.
