Ingo knew how much Darius meant to them both. She knew what it was like to lose someone. She had empathy to give, but did not know how to comfort someone. Ingo felt guilty, for being born, for knowing Will, for not being able to help Sonja or Liam. Ingo clenched her jaw slightly, she had no tears to shed, only gher own pain and guilt to feel.

Liam clenched his teeth and fists, rage blazing up behind his calm brown eyes. He closed them, took a deep breath, and opened his burn-scarred blacksmith's hands. "Is he avenged?" the man asked. Sonja nodded, and Liam sat back. "And his grave...?" Sonja looked up at him. "The ocean." Liam sighed. "I would have preferred... well, it doesn't matter. Darius was always planning to go off to sea with you anyways."

Sinbad stayed in the shadows, praying they wouldn't find him. With his luck, he probably would. A Pirate's code, only help yourself. He never lived by that. It was help others. Because they were worse off that he ever would be.

Ingo sighed, she could feel the tension, the upset, that radiating misery and torn up love. There was nothing she could do and she hated feeling like that, she hated knowing that others were suffering and she couldn't help at all.

Sonja looked at Liam, then sighed. "I'm going back to sea," she said. "Old John- or whatever his name is- can take care of Marcus. I'm never coming back to Port Royale." She sighed, then stood up and spotted Melody and Rodney. "Hey," she muttered to Ingo, "Who are those two? The little boy- isn't he the one we told to stay on the ship? But who's his friend?"

Sinbad backed up a bit father, right as something came around his neck and chest, closing around him and pulling him back. "It's him alright. The thief." They tightened the rope and made a noose around his neck. With a bit more of the rope, they tied his hands behind him and wrapped the rope around their hand. They all laughed. "Finally, another." Sinbad's head was pulled back as he was marched back, right to the gallows. His bandanna was put over his eyes as he was forced to march, the ropes making his neck raw.

"Yep, that's Rodney, but I'm not sure of the girl's name," Ingo said, trying to rack her brain, she knew her, but had no recollection of her name or what she did. Ingo was distracted for a few moments, then looked at Liam again, feeling so sorry for him and also guilty.

Sonja's fingers tightened in their grip on the edge of the table, so hard that her knuckles went white. "Something's wrong," she said. "I can feel it- if you're here, and they are, then who's on the ship?" She stood up, growling to herself that she had no weapons. "Let's go," she said. "Leave the money on the table- there's no time to waste." Liam watched as ran out the door, then turned and shrugged at Ingo. He pulled a few coins from his pocket and laid them out, then stood and gestured for the girl and Rodney to come.

Sonja raced down the road, adreniline spiking away the pain from her bandaged side as she went. She made it to the docks and looked around, biting her lip when she didn't find Sinbad where he said he'd be. She shuttled up the gangplank and into her cabin on the Maiden, snatching up her twin daggers and her saber. She pulled the dagger sheaths over her chest o they laid in a "x", and belted the sword about her waist. She was left handed, and placed it accordingly, and now she was The Saber. Out of her cabin, across the deck, and down the gangplank she raced, heading towards the gallows. There was only one reason so many bootprints would be recently in the dust- an arrest.

Sinbad was continually pushed through the street. He felt every bump. And everything that reflected off the walls. He was forced to keep walking as they pushed him into a cell, still bound. "Tomorrow at dawn" was all he heard. He got the blindfold off and looked around him. "D*mn..." He looked at his bonds in the corner of his eye. It was still being pulled back, cutting into his throat.
