Emerald smirked. "Butt kicking sounds good right about now." she said, a hint of venom in her weakish voice. She sat down with a huff and pulled the blanket over her again as she started to pet Diad.

Diad snorted furiously as the other wounded girl appeared, being a horse friend and foe didnt matter to him. He was soon comforted again by Emerald as she stroked him, his eyes closed and his ears flicked around, his breathing slow and soft. His bay coat was more dull than normal being winter and all that, it had grown thick and slightly curly.

Emerald yawned, her arm seemed to move on it's own as she sank down again. She zoned out and seemed to become hollow. She knew the others were around so she didn't let the tears fall. She leaned her head against Diad's leg and felt her eyelids get heavier. She yawned.

Diad watched the girl fall to his legs, he sniffed the top of her head, nibbling slightly. His back right leg was resting as he let his head droop and his eyes close again, it wasnt long until he fell asleep too.

Saya rides up to the castle and waits for the queen.

Arowin awoke at the sound of the commotion and was on her feet in a mater of seconds assessing the situation. She walked to Emerald, scooped her up and then walked her into a hut and lay her on the straw bed before heading out to Jay. She looked at the wound and frowned. "Jay what happened?" she asked looking her friend hard in the eye. "Who did this?"

Rebecca lead Lara and the prince's horse up the ramp. While watching the prince she had bound his hands together and put him on Lara. She pulled the ramp up before leading Stephan to cell. She gently put him down and undid his bonds and gestured to the loaf of bread and canteen of water in his cell before tending to the horses.

Arriana woke and walked outside to the gardens it was early morning and Kyle was still asleep. She spotted Saya and waved to her.

"Hello queen." Saya said and dismounted handing her the bag of cookies she had made. "Please try one."

Arianna still winced at the Queen bit. She smiled thought and took a cookie. She bit a small piece off and as the wonderful and rich flavor touched her taste buds she closed her eyes and ate the rest. "That was wonderful!" she sai opening them again. "Our chef doesn't ever cook this well." she said. Suddenly her eyes blazed. "Would you consider taking over the royal kitchen?" she asked and walked with Saya to the stable.

"Sure if your husband is ok with it." Saya said and handed the reins to the head groom.

"The king won't mind." she said happily and walked Saya into the castle towards the kitchen. They wondered through the huge oak doors and then down a long dark corridor.

The groom blushed slightly and took her horse. He sang softly to the stallion as he lead it towards the stable.
