Melody grinned as well, then grimaced and spat out the black wax that made it look like she had missing teeth. "That stuff is disgusting," she said, putting the glob of dark tallow into her pocket. "But useful. Let's get something to eat- placed like this are always so easy to steal from."

Rodney nodded in agreement, his small size, and some-what cute face made it easy for him to steal. He did not particularly like doing it, he didn't like doing anything where he could only do it because of his size, he wanted to be skilled at something, but he had never been allowed to try anything like that.

"Well, come on then," laughed Melody. "I don't ever have to steal- I can sing for a meal." She glanced through the door, watching for a moment, then looked back at Rodney with a wink. "But thievery is more fun."

Rodney smiled and nodded. He followed her then, feeling rather out of place among all the adults in the place. He looked around his eyes wide and slightly scared, but soon the fear flooded from him and he felt rather at home, he liked places liekt his, even if he wasn't used to them at all.

Sinbad held her finish and watched her. "What now?" He wasn't much in a hurry to leave. It was a whole that he was still on the run for stealing bread for kids who were hungry.

Sonja shrugged and stood up, her gray tunic and sand-colored breeches marking her as somebody who was either very rich or somebody who traveled. It was more the latter- she hadn't any money on her to pay for food.

Liam escorted Ingo to the door of the small eating house, ducking under the sign emblazoned with a cat. "Good morrow, Jon," he called to the owner, who was cleaning a table nearby. "Any free space for a friend and a friend of a friend?"

Melody peeked around the door, seeing Liam but passing over him, noting Ingo but not realizing who she was. "I haven't got any money on me," she said. "I hope you've got quick fingers and quicker feet."

Sinbad looked at her. "A sailor I take it?" He picked up the pieces. He looked up at the ceiling where he fell in. Man he dropped farther than he thought. He shook his head and looked at the girl.

"At your service," said Sonja with a slight bow, not bending too deep for fear that she would reopen her wounds. She also didn't mention that fact that she was a certain specific type of sailor.

Sinbad held out his hand. "A pleasure to meet another sailor. Back in Baghdad, I'm known as Sinbad the Sailor." He smirked as he true title should have been "Sinbad the Pirate." But then he wouldn't be credited for saving the princess of Baghdad or looking through magic that was taught to him.

Sonja shook his hand, introducing herself as well. "Sonja Wende." She cocked her head to one side, thinking, then added, "If that was meant to be impressive, I'm sorry. I've never heard of you."
