Clayton noticed her tears subsiding in favor of thoughts, which upon her next sentence were probably reflective. His brows flicked upward a moment and he nodded, because the phrase was far more profound than anything he could have possibly conjured. And inspiring, very inspiring. His brown eyes trailed after the way she recovered, as she smiled a little and wiped her eyes. Her renewed attitude made him start to smile himself. He didn't stand when she did, instead swaying mildly and watching as she shuffled through her bag. Upon reflection, thoughts he was too distracted to investigate earlier, it was nice being on a set of swings again. It had been a while since he'd visited an actual children's playground, he was always busy with something. School, sports, the family business. the blonde boy texted his mother saying that he will still be out until later and started walking down the streets. a thing that people didn't really know about august was that he smoked from time to time. the reason for why he kept it a secret was to obviously keep his 'perfect angel' image up even though he wasn't always as perfect as people though. august lit his cigarette and walked around, trying his best to stay hidden from anyone that could know him.

Alec rode down the sidewalk at a reckless speed on his skateboard, making other people walking on the sidewalk have to jump out the way to avoid being hit by the reckless teen. Alec could care less about those people. All he was thinking about was how happy he was to have finally been freed from detention. He'd tried skipping detention today, but one nosy teacher caught him, which earned him another week of detention. Alec dreaded the thought of being trapped in a hot, sticky classroom after school for another whole week. 'He'll pay for getting me in trouble...' Alec thought to himself as he glided along the sidewalk, going faster still. Then he saw him. The very kid who got him in detention in the first place. August. Alec skidded to a stop and hopped off his skateboard right in front of August. He was about to make some snide remark at the boy when he realized. August was.... Smoking?! The perfect nerd boy smoked?! "No way," Alec jeered at the boy. " Mr. Goodie-two-shoes smokes? I can't believe this." Alec said with a chuckle, accompanied with a mischievous smile.

Jessie spins around to face Clayton as he spoke. Seeing his amusement expression at her actions brings a pout on her face out of mild annoyance. How about all of them." Alec said with a devious grin. Oh, and I landed myself another week of detention today so you'll have to bail me outta that, too.
