The warm sunlight of the middle morning entered Alexis' room by the window. The girl, who was peacefully asleep on the bed, covered by her White blankets, groaned at the feeling of her honey Brown colored eyes wanting to get to open. She turned her position a few times before finally giving up. It was usually quite hard for her to get to start a day. it always had took her some time to get out of her comfortable bed. She slowly opened her eyes, rubbing them tiredly for a second. She stretched her arms. Letting out a sigh, she sat up on the bad, runnning a hand through her médium height redish hair. the floor was cold, but Alexis, ignored this completely, as she walked up to the bathroom. Using some cold water, she washed her face with both of her hands before looking up at the mirror to see herself, still with her hands slightly over her own face. She fixed her hair with her red comb. Even though, her hair never really needed much fixing, due to it's rather short lenght. From the kitchen, the scent of the warm food filled the air of the entire house. It was the smell of breakfast. it immediately made Alex's stomach growl. Somehow curiously, the girl walked up to the small kitchen. She saw her grandmother putting a few plates with cookies and a few cups with tea over the wooden table.
Her sister, Danielle as always, was still inside her room wether listening to music, or planning to sleep the day away. Alexis smiled at the sight of her happy looking grandmother. Grandma? shouldn't you be in bed? the Young girl asked, considering the fact that the old woman mentioned to be feeling quite sick since the day before. I Could have made breakfast she added softly. But the woman, named Lucille, but nicknamed Lucy, just shook her head in response. It's alright, I'm feeling better. Go wake Danielle up, dear Alexis smiled slightly, nodding her head. She kind of took a deep breath. waking her sister up wasn't an easy thing to do. But as she made her way through the small house, she realized she was already awake. The sound of the heavy music could be Heard from outside the room. Alexis knocked on the door. shortly, her sister opened it. What? the girl asked, somehow serious, before turning her music down. Grandma made breakfast. You should eat, she made cookies, it has been a long time since the last time she made them the girl half smiled. The youngest one suddenly trotted out her room, leaving the door open, going to the kitchen quickly, and sitting on the chair in the blink of an eye. Alexis snickered. Well, that was easy She thought, before heading back to the kitchen. After breakfast, Danielle left to her room to go talk on the phone with her so called friends. Lucy, was working on a paint in the living room, and Alexis decided to go outside, To explore downtown, or just walk around. She went back to her room. Putting on a pair of dark blue jeans, black and white sneackers , a plain white tanktop and a teal colored hoodie, she took the keys she always used to go in and out the house. And after saying goodbye, promising she would be back in a while, She walked down the streets with both hands inside the pockets of her hoodie. Soon, she grabbed her phone from the right pocket. and putting her earphones inside hear ears, she started humming to the tone of a song that have been stuck inside her head for a while. She kind of refrained from dancing. A small smile appeared on the girl's expression as she walked around with her gaze slightly fixed on her own shoes. Getting away from her house at times, was her only way to forget about her responsabilities. She kicked a small Stone on the way as she walked. A soft sigh scaped her voice, before her eyes turned to look back forward. She took the hoodie off her head, as she gazed around the place trying to find something to do. Funny thing, when I'm not being responsable, I can't find what to do She tought with a smirk as she kept walking around. After a while of wandering around, Alexis went inside Starbucks. She took a seat on an empty table. She bought a drink. It was both warm and sweet.
