august smiled when jessica said that she had to go alright we can hang out another time, see you he said and waved her goodbye. he waited around the courtyard for another half an hour, just reading and sometime checked his phone. when he couldn't pick up anything up from eliza and aurora, he just got up and decided to leave.
the blonde boy texted his mother saying that he will still be out until later and started walking down the streets. a thing that people didn't really know about august was that he smoked from time to time. the reason for why he kept it a secret was to obviously keep his 'perfect angel' image up even though he wasn't always as perfect as people though. august lit his cigarette and walked around, trying his best to stay hidden from anyone that could know him.

coden rolled his eyes at april come on, we both know that this 'delightful surprise' is actually complete and utter crap. you don't have to sugar coat it for me he said. well, you know, unless your idea of a delightful surprise is being engaged to the guy that you've probably heard so many lies about cody muttered. when she started talking about university, he nodded yes, i am but i often only go to lectures and then hide out in the library in brakes so i guess it is hard to see me unless you go there often. he shrugged your parents forced you into business too or are you studying something else?

spencer looked down at skylar seeing that she still looked upset. he almost forgot about what happened between them that morning and how he hated her guts. well at least he didn't think about it, how could he when he saw how upset and sorry sky felt. hey, hey, it's ok, i understand and i'm sure i can get jess to understand as well spence said, wrapping his arms around her in a hug come on, do you think i'm going to let a crying princess rule this kingdom? he asked, jokingly.

➸ Skylar fell into the hug, not even thinking about how much she should hate him. She liked the comfort, she never got any comfort because no one ever asked about her and she never opened up to show it. Allowing Spencer to wrap his arms around her, she let out a sigh of the air she had been holding in and a tear slid down her cheek. "I'm assuming the correct answer is no," she mumbled softly into his shirt. He smelled so fresh, she could have stayed in that moment for ages, as long as no one from school ever appeared.

spencer sighed softly as he held her. he subconsciously started playing with skylar's hair, something he would do to comfort people. when she assumed that the answer is no he smiled a bit actually, i'll let the princess let it all out he said. spencer let go of her hair and started rubbing circles onto her back i'm serious skylar, crying is healthy, don't try to bottle it up he said. spence looked at her how about we go now? it is pretty late, i think they're oing to lock up pretty soon he said but didn't let go of skylar.

"I just wish I had some more time with her to be a better friend." There is no doubt that she blamed herself. In her head, she reasoned that if she was there more, this wouldn't have happened.

He honestly doesn't mind her first statement in favor of catching an almost-smile on her face. Up until then, the tears had been relatively steady. Honestly, any other time of the day he might not of cared, but it was just the two of them in the park at night. Learning what happened to her made that half smile worth a whole lot more. He watched as she moved her gaze to the sky and realized before it happened that he would probably see at least a few more tears. If the situation weren't so morose, he might have found some amusement in the way she cursed over tearing up. As it were, though, he merely lifted a brow the fraction of an inch and rested his head on a chain. "There's nothing wrong with crying," he told her, "When you do miss someone as much as you miss her, it'd be more worrying if you weren't bawling your eyes out." Her next words confirmed his suspicions, and he turned his head to study her as he mulled over his response. He didn't want to be too blatant as to remind her of how it happened, but he wanted to assure her that it wasn't at all her fault and that she wasn't a bad friend. He took a breath before finally picking a lead. "I think if you weren't a better friend, she wouldn't have bothered to travel and see you. From what I gather, she just missed you. Nothing about that means you weren't still her best friend. That also means that she'd never want you to think of it as your fault, the timing was just all wrong." When he finished, he bit his lip and hoped to any deity listening that he didn't say the wrong thing.

Jessie continues to look up the sky as Clayton spoke. She listened to him as streams of tear continue to run down her face. This time she made no attempts to stop them. Hearing him take a breath, she turns and looks at him. His words surprised her and got her thinking, what would Clara want her to do at this moment. She looks down at her lap as her thoughts traveled to a conversation she had with Clara when Clara's father passed away due to cancer. Jess remember asking how Clara was able to get over her father's death. Her response was "There is nothing I can do about it, so I just have to move on and live life for the both of us." Jessie repeats her words out loud. Upon saying that she realizes that her friend wouldn't want her to be like this. She imagines what Clara would say seeing her this way, no doubt telling her to get her ass up and stop moping around and go take some photos. Her half smile returns at that thought. She didn't even notice, but it seemed her tears stopped, her face was still wet. She wipes the tears off her face as well as some lingering tears in her eyes to clear her vision. She turns to look at Clayton again, giving a small smile. "You're right. She wouldn't want to see me like this." she says before standing up from the swing and taking a few steps forward. She made the motion of reaching for her camera in her shoulder bag before realizing that she didn't bring either of the two. She was so used to having a camera around all the time, she didn't even notice that it wasn't with her. As she puts her hands down slowly, she blushes in embarrassment from her actions.
