Ethan

It was early in the morning, too early in fact. Ethan didn't really like getting up early, but he couldn't seem to be able to go back to bed, so he figured he might as well take a trip down to the ice rink. He pulled off his Family Guy pj's and slipped on a pair of grey skinny jeans and a tee shirt, which would be just enough to keep him warm on the ice. He picked up his skates, stick and a spare puck and headed out the door into the cool Canadian air.

Aislinn
Aislinn, being the outcast she was, liked getting up early. Even with the chill in the air and the unusual silence, she thought getting up early was the best way to really wake yourself up. Therefore, she was already at the ice rink, in her figure skating dress, the one she used for competitions. She tied her skates on and slid onto the ice, and started to do various spins and twirls like a professional would. She had been skating since she was four, so she know he works of all the movements. Everything she did was fluent, and smooth.

I woke up to the sound of the early birds' chirps. I yawned and reached for my water bottle. I put a tiny bit on my face and rubbed it in. "Ah." I sighed. Another yawn came and threw off my red and white blankets. My black cami top was all mixed up. I straightened out my shirt and pulled down my pink Hello Kitty fleece pajama pants. I moved my hair from my eyes and walked to my bathroom. I fixed up my hair and put a small amount of eyeliner and blush on. I yawned once more and changed into my ripped skin tight jeans and my favorite Cookie Monster shirt. I grabbed a pair of studs and pushed them into my ear. I grabbed my beanie and walked down into my kitchen. As I peered into the cupboard, Garfield hopped onto the counter top. "Bad boy!" I reached out my hands and set him down on to the hardwood floor. "Bad boy Garfield!" I named him Garfield because he was a fat orange persian. As I stumbled around the kitchen with a blue bowl, spoon, milk, and a box of Cocoa Krispies, I stepped into my high tops. Once I finished eating, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take some cough medicine. Garfield jumped onto the couch and I raced in the den with the remote and surfed through the channels. I had some spare time! This was the first time I ever did! I plopped on the couch and put Garfy on my chest. "Am I forgetting something?" I thought. I grabbed my messager bag and pulled it to the black couch. My hands threw on my white sweatshirt from LBI and opened the back door. "C'mon inside!" I yelled. Now, even though I go to school, I smuggle my pup and cat into my life. I yelled again and Cody came racing inside. "Good girl!" I patted the top of her head and she nibbled on my ring finger.

The walk to the ice rink was not that far, and Ethan figured that he wouldn't need his parka since it would only be about five minutes from his dorm to the rink. Much to his surprise, somebody was already there before him, because the doors were open and the lights were on. There were two rinks in this building, one for hockey, and one for figure skating. He slid the key to the hockey rink into the door and turned it while the doors clicked open with a groan. He slid his thin, knife-like hockey blades onto his feet. With a click, the lights turned on, but much to his dismay the ice was jagged and rough since it probably hadn't been zambino-ed. He figured that practicing on rough ice wouldn't really do much good, so he opened the doors to the figure skating rink. There was a girl there dressed in her figure skating uniform twirling in the air on her skates. He reminded her of a ballerina almost, graceful and light on her feet. Her reddish hair twirled with every move, like fire slicing the air. He checked the ice, and with the exception of her skate's wake the ice was slick and well taken care of. "Would you mind if I joined you?" He called out, picking a puck our of his duffel bag and wrapping his hoodie around him.

Aislinn

Aislinn knew someone else was there, and she looked over, to see a boy about her age. She slowed her spinning and stopped herself with the rigid tip of her right skate's blade. "Sure, uhm, I mean, I don't mind, go ahead..." She stuttered, skating off awkwardly and starting a new routine. It was to a song she knew by heart, fortunately, for she didn't have her radio with her. "You, make, me, feel like I'm living a teenage, dream..." She sang quietly, while skating out the moves she had invented herself. She would sometimes create her own routines when she had the time. She didn't the boy being there. He wouldn't bother her, so she wouldn't bother him. Or, at least she thought that was how it worked.
