Katherine Grace Beckett/Prefers to be called Kat/female/20 years old/Scout of Western Tribe/Tags: Calista/Location: Camp/No crush or relationship as of now
Katherine walked through the camp. The young scout was in a particularly good mood today, but let’s be honest she was honestly in a good mood all the time. She looked around the camp. IT had seemed people were already up and about mingling with each other. The blonde haired and green eyed young woman had a dimpled smile on her face. She scanned around the camp seeing if there leader was preoccupied with someone at the current moment or if he was free. Unfortunately for her he was not free at the moment, he had Annora with him. She was going to ask about what she could do to help around the camp, but seeing as there leader was preoccupied, she couldn’t go out scouting yet without command and orders. The forest could be a dangerous place at times, or what Kat thought of it. The icy plains were surrounded on one side by the forest, and on the other side was a way to the nearest ruined city. She had personally never really been into the ruined city simply because her job was to scout. The icy plains laid all around there camp and it was bitterly cold all the time. There was a river that was frozen over due to the cold weather and below freezing temperatures. Honestly even though some of the days with the cold getting to her, Katherine didn’t really mind her Tribe. I mean her tribe mates were a joy, well some of them were. She couldn’t particularly figure out that one girl... gah what was her name she thought to herself. She snapped her finger as an ah-ha moment came to her. It was Olivia. She couldn’t understand how Olivia could be so reserved and quiet. Kat loved being around others and she honestly didn’t like quiet time when she was a young kid. That was the worst part of her day.

As Katherine scanned looking for someone to talk to, she noticed a woman standing by herself. Long slightly wavy brown hair and peach colored skin, Katherine couldn’t place a name to the woman. Hm.... she thought to herself, don’t sweat you were never good at remembering names anyway. Come to think if it though, Kat didn’t really have any encounters with this person so she really wouldn’t know her name unless someone told her. Maybe someone did and Kat being forgetful forgot all about the woman’s name. Katherine walked over and noticed that the woman was a few inches taller than she was. Katherine was only around 5’4” and this women seemed to be a good amount taller than her. She said giving her a wide and excited smile, “Hello, my name is Katherine Grace Beckett, but you can just call me Kat, I actually prefer that. I don’t think we have met and you seemed to be by yourself so I decided why not give you a shot and talk to you.” Was that last bit rude or offensive. Katherine quickly followed up by saying, “My apologize if that last bit was offensive or rude. I just meant I wanted to talk to you since you were alone. I love keeping everyone in the mix and everyone involved. I mean I love talk to people in general. Don’t let my outgoing and eager personality to get you scared of me, I promise you I will mellow out.” Kat couldn’t really tell if she was being to overly eager as that was one of her weaknesses, but no matter, just be yourself and everything will be fine she told herself in her mind.

Kaden Turner | 19 | Captain | Eastern | Tagging: Emma

"If there’s anything you need from me, anything I can help with, let me know. I may be on the younger end, but I’m still Captain for a reason. If you think of anything, I can make arrangements to help," Kade promised. A greenhouse. He hadn’t thought much about that, but thinking on it…she was right. That was something he couldn’t do though, as much as he knew it would mean to her to have that greenhouse. It really would be an invaluable asset.

"If a greenhouse was within the realm of capability, I’d have given it to you. Maybe you’ll have your greenhouse one day though. There’s always the future." Kade was doubtful of that, but he’d learned things changed remarkably quickly, and one should never say never. "Oh I wouldn't dream of asking you to use herbs on something like dry hands when there’s things like open wounds and illnesses to save it for. Pray we won’t have any of those for a good while yet to come though."

Kade gave Emma a faint nod, then started towards the dining area. With the cold breeze making the weather a bit nippier than he had registered up until this point, Kade would be happy to sit down for some tea before sending Gatherers and Hunters out searching for resources. He’d be eager for when Leads were appointed, then he wouldn’t be the only one handling most of the weight of organizing, there was a reason for hierarchy. "What kind of tea strikes your fancy today?"

Connall Walker | 35 | Leader | Western | Tagging: Annora

Hope. Hope was something that Connall sometimes felt they were frightfully low on. Annora was right though. They had to keep their heads up, had to keep reminding themselves that they’d made it this far, and they’d KEEP making it, and things would start to get better soon. Even if it was hard right now, soon the warmer seasons would set in and things would for a time become easier, they could move ahead.

"Thank you. I hate to take you away from what you had planned before, but there'll be time for that after if you’re still so inclined," Connall pointed out. He pressed a quick, soft kiss to Annora's cheek. "Thank you for stepping up to the plate. You’re always good about being ready to do what’s needed, and that’s something not everyone can say. So thank you for your flexibility."

Móraín Maria | 27 | Warrior | Eastern | Tagging: Cato

A small smile tugged at the corner of Móraín's lips. She’d made a point of observing her tribemates since the tribes had first firmed eighteen years ago or so. She’d been old enough to remember a time before, but things were different now. Now they relied on each other. These were people she shared food, space, work, responsibility, and trust with. She had to know them. All of them. Know them by name and know them by face. She’d been around long enough. She beckoned the young man over to come join her at the table.

"Of course I remember, I make a point of knowing the people I surround myself with," Móraín admitted. She knew not everyone did, but in her opinion, it was the wise thing to do. "Hmm…you tend to take in those things when you live with someone. Though it’s true we haven’t talked much." Her expression softened, becoming warm. "I forgive you for forgetting. You sure do like to talk, don’t you? That’s not a bad thing. Quite refreshing," she decided.

As for his question, it was a good one, and…it really depended on what was happening at any given time. "Well, we protect the tribe from having supplies stolen, be it by animals or our neighbours to the west. We accompany Hunters and Gatherers on smaller or further away assignments, we train to keep our skills sharp so we're always ready to defend our home and our people," she responded finally. "And as for today…well. I haven’t heard the plans today, but if nobody says anything soon, I’m fully intending to round up a couple other Warriors and check the border, we haven’t been by our border in a few days. Perhaps a bit irresponsible. What about you?"

Karter Zael | 18 | Warrior | Western | Tagging: Janus

Karter would’ve been perfectly happy with a spar, but his shields went up all over again at the harsh sound of his last name. It had been a while. And yet, it had not been anywhere near long enough yet. He had hoped he’d never have to deal with his family name again once civilization had fallen. He narrowed his eyes. When I think of them, it’s never going to do anything but tear me apart inside. He straightened, pulling down his hood and shaking his brown hair free.

"Fine by me, but can’t promise I’ll play fair." Karter grinned, but it was forced. Then he followed after the Captain and brought his hands up to guard his chest, prepared for an immediate attack. "But don’t use my last name. Call me whatever else you want, but not my family name, that’s just…too much." Karter knew he was sensitive, he didn’t care, and he didn’t care what anyone else thought of him for it.

    xxx──𝑳𝑶𝑹𝑬𝑵 𝑲𝑾𝑨𝑵...
    xxxxxxxx(eastern warrior)xx(tags) - vivian xx(mentions) tags

mornings were always something hard for loren. he never went to sleep early, always sleeping either as late as 6 am playing immature things and messing around, or staying up because he doesn't know what to do with his life and needed to figure it out. the cold air made him think better. of course, he knew it was a bad situation, and the cold was now unbearable, but before living like this, the cold was his favorite thing in the world. he'd always hang out on his roof in the middle of the night, sipping whatever drink he had in his cup and watched the stars. sometimes he'd have a companion, other times he'd just be by himself. either way, it was definitely something he had missed. he missed the way life used to be so badly- he missed the freedom he had, and the joy he had felt.

now, he was stuck, in a tribe he didn't even know if he wanted to be in, as a warrior. it wasn't completely awful, it was something he could handle. but after being in denial of wanting people's company for so long, it was hard to even admit he wanted to be around people. there were definitely certain people he had missed. his mother, his sister, his family. god he wished he could see his family just one more time before he knew he had to lose them forever. it was an unbearable feeling- knowing he'd never see them again. it hurt.

    and vivian.

god, loren hated vivian. but at the same time, he missed that boy more than anything. the way his hand always felt in his, the way he held his head when he leaned into him, how his hands felt in his hair when he was laying on him and when he was seeking comfort. the way his voice sounded like sweet honey, and tasted just as good as well. the way his lips were so warm against his, and warm against his skin, always bringing butterflies and warmth to his stomach. loren was mad at him. he was so mad at him for everything he did and how he was treated- but a part of him knew, god, all of him knew- that he'd go running back to vivian if he ever had the chance to have him back.

standing outside in the snow quietly, with his jacket zipped up, and his hands in his pocket, he only watched the horizion quietly, just waiting for something interesting to happen. or at least, for someone to need him. licking his dry lips, loren only stumbled forward slightly, a small huff falling from his breath as he quickly turned around to see the figure that walked into him. glaring out of reflex- his gaze softened almost immediately once he saw the familiar face. god, it was almost like the universe was teasing with loren- playing with his emotions and slapping him across the face.

seeing him pouty- even if it was slight, loren couldn't help but soften his gaze and lean his head to the side slightly. he was so pretty, especially with the breeze pushing his hair off of his face. he was stunning. loren just wanted to stroke his cheek with his thumb- feel his smooth skin against his fingers, and look into his pretty eyes without turning a bright red or feeling a random flare of anger. hearing him speak- loren almost didn't answer. he almost didn't have an answer. turning his eyes away from the male, and dropping down to his boots, loren sucked in a shaky breath. "no," he said quietly. "i'm not going out yet. i was going to wait for someone to ask me for help before doing anything," his eyes flicking back up towards vivian's, he sucked in a deep breath. "why? do you need me?"

Mateo Antonio Benito/No preferred name/male/15 years old/Hunter Trainee of Eastern Tribe/Tags: Freyja/Location: Camp/Heterosexual with no current information about romantic interests or relationships
Mateo yawned and stretched. The young trainee had just woken up and he was ready to seize the day. Sure maybe he did sleep in just a tad, but that was bound to happen from time to time. He had worked himself hard yesterday and he was exhausted last night. He walked out of where the trainees stayed. It got lonely in there sometimes with him being the only one present within the tribe. Ah the mighty Eastern Tribe, far more superior than Western Tribe ever will be he thought to himself and he made a small smile. He was super quiet most of the time and thought these thoughts without being overly obnoxious like some people within the tribe. The camp was snow covered on the ground and it made a crunching sound as he walked slowly from the trainee den to a little spot in camp he liked. He didn’t mind the snow, it was more the bitter cold he minded. The snow could be fun, but in bitter cold weather, getting wet from the snow was bound to get you sick faster than you can say snow. He looked around. It had seemed other people were up. Cato was talking with Móraín and being honest, Mateo didn’t really know how to react to Cato so it would be interesting to see how she took his constant talking. It was like that guy was shot out of a cannon or something. Admitting to himself never to be said out loud he thought, his energy is somewhat refreshing at times.

Mateo noticed a figure from the corner of his eye walking towards the hunter’s cabin. He noticed her bow and arrow and he walked over and he said, “Hello Freyja. I assume based on your bow and arrow you have been out of camp today? If so how were the conditions out there?” Mateo was always eager to learn about the conditions out where he would help with the hunt. Food was scarce and it made the job of a hunter ever more vital to sustain a living within the tribe. He didn’t want to see any of his tribe suffer. They were all like family to him whether he liked people in the tribe or be disliked people in the tribe. He told himself the people he wasn’t so fond of were like nagging siblings who are annoying and have some sort of problem with you. While still young a quiet individual to add onto that, Mateo didn’t really see himself with enemies at the current moment, but hey there would be people in the tribe who didn’t like him and that was fine. He said rubbing a hand on the back of his neck, “So um... I was hoping maybe I could help if the hunters are going on a huntIng party today? I promise I’ll be good and listen to every single command I get. I know it’s not up to you to decide whether I can go or not or if I’m assigned to go, but I think with food being scarce the hunters could maybe use a helping hand and I can gain experience to help me when I’m a full hunter.” Ah he was being so serious right now. I mean did Mateo want to go with the hunters, yes, but was it Freyja’s decision if he could go or not, unfortunately no. He liked Freyja and was one of the people he highly respected within the tribe. She did good work as a hunter.

It was common for her to experience delays or distractions on those days, so she had to keep her eyes on her food in order to avoid getting slowed down or distracted. Her constant nervousness was a way of preparing herself for what was to come because you had to be ready for anything these days. "No worries at all, it's not a problem at all. I'll find Ryder and Olivia and see if they are willing to go out with me" she more said this to herself but out loud just in case her choice for people was not approved of.

"Don't stress about it, it's totally fine" she shrugged her shoulders, standing up with her plate so that she could carry it back to the kitchen. She smiled for a moment while Connall kissed her cheek but the small moment of happiness was once more swiftly replaced with seriousness.

There was a fine line between the different groups within their tribe. There were the ones that managed to find something to make light of, and others who buried themselves in the dark reality of the world. Emma was certainly more on the serious side of things, usually not by choice, but she managed to find an entrance to a quick laugh here and there. Unlike the jokesters of the tribe, though, Emma didn't always find genuine humour in everything. Oftentimes, her laugh was quieter; it enough to acknowledge the humour, but she never truly shook off her worries underneath. Now was no different, as she offered a soft chuckle in Kade's direction. “You’re not that young,” she attempted to reason with him. He was only about two years younger than she was. A lot of the tribe was younger, too; she was quite sure there were only a small handful over the age of thirty. Part of her wondered if that came with having a younger leader. “And, regardless of your age ━ ” she gestured towards his person ━ “look where you are, rank-wise. Of course I trust you, Kade. You’re my friend and I know you do good for this group.”

She smiled at him, partly because of what she said, and partly because of his following words. “One day,” she echoed wistfully, seemingly dismissing it soon after by tracing the lines of her wooden desk with her pinky finger. Emma didn’t like getting her hopes up. She’d had them crushed far too many times in the past, and with every day being as unpredictable as they were, she was trying hard to avoid looking forward to anything. It wasn’t worth it, really.

She turned back towards Kade, offering him a quick nod. “Maybe you’ve said some magic words,” she spoke lightly, “but I haven’t had to sew up nearly as many hunters or warriors these past few months. You’ve gone easy on Dexter and I, although we can only do so much stocking.” Despite her light tease, Emma was grateful. Maybe Kade had indeed said something to help them stay on track, or Alessia. Whatever the case may be, apart from the occasional cold, business had been slow. And she was grateful for that.

The cold air threw itself at Emma at once as she exited the medical cabin, and she quickly closed her eyes to prevent them from watering at the brisk wind. “I’ve never liked the wind,” she murmured, half under her breath. “It makes everything so much more difficult to work with.” As much as she disliked winter, she did enjoy the sound of the snow crunching beneath their boots. Something about it was so satisfying to her ears. “Honey lemon is always my go-to,” she responded, taking a few quick steps to catch up to him. Despite the cold, she could feel the sun beaming down on her ━ specifically her hair, which seemed to be a big target for heat. “But I could always settle for an orange pekoe.” She paused yet again, gaze skimming past Kade. “We could probably handle this on our own, right?” she continued. “That way we won’t have to bug Carly.”

Alessia was never against casual chitchat amongst the members of her tribe, but even she had to admit, she was partially taken aback when their scout Angel came bounding over, dark eyes glued to Aleksi as though Alessia herself didn’t even exist. Ghostly, perhaps simply an illusion; or, more like the warrior’s shadow, it seemed, as the young, eager women didn’t dare to even blink an eye in Alessia’s direction as she shot a mouthful of words in Aleksi’s direction. For a moment longer, Alessia stood rigidly still, a look of surprise across her features. She was often a quick thinker, good with comebacks and well-versed in any sort of think-fast challenge, but she was completely and utterly wiped clean of general words at that given moment. It took more than just that to upset her, or find a spot on her bad side, but she couldn’t disregard the stinging feeling within her. Mustering a half-smile, one that evidently was not truly real, she cleared her throat and tilted her head. “Excuse me for interrupting.” The words were laced with gentle sarcasm, not enough for it to come across as accusing, but certainly something that she’d hope would allow them to realize she was not impressed. She couldn’t waste her time dwelling on an unfortunate situation like this, though; she had patrols to work up. So, pushing past the two of them, Alessia kept her head held high and practically marched through the camp, eyes focused up ahead, gaze unfaltering.

Things were quiet this morning. She tried to keep the group together until she gave her permission for certain people to leave, given the harsh circumstances one could face should they exit all by their lonesome. She hadn’t had much time to voice her concerns regarding this to Micah, who had eagerly rushed out of camp perhaps before Alessia herself had even left her cabin, but she was back safe, and for now, that’s all the leader could ask for. Stopping at an angle where she had the chance to view most of her tribe members at once, Alessia allowed her dark brown eyes to sweep around the camp, purposely ignoring the shadowy corner Aleksi and Angel were standing. Her gaze was quick to catch another face, though, one that she so desperately wanted to be near, and yet, at the same time, wished to be miles apart. Freyja Hansen. God, how Alessia once adored her. How craved their once meaningful conversations and the comforting closeness they once shared. Deep down, she knew it still lingered, but over time, strength within her had pushed it away. She could – would – never expose such emotions. But they were there.

It was unfortunate, how Alessia needed to discuss matters with a hunter. And while she knew she wanted to get Mateo on board, she didn’t have it in her to strike up a conversation with Freyja. She rarely did nowadays. Instead, she turned in a completely new direction, gaze settling on Cato and Móraín. This was better.

“Good morning,” she greeted, tone neither overly warm nor cold. It was audibly hinting that the conversation was business-related, as it usually was with her. “If I’m not so rudely interrupting, Cato ━ ” she gave a quick nod in his direction ━ “I was hoping to send the hunters out. Móraín, Micah told me about some running water. Should the results turn out to be something positive, I think it’ll be worth taking a look at. In the meantime, how do you feel about joining the hunters? For safety reasons,” she added, in case that wasn’t already obvious. Alessia always felt most comfortable sending out a warrior with the hunters to keep a watchful eye out. She knew not everyone agreed with the tactic, but until someone verbally argued and made a good enough reason to stop it, Alessia was going to continue to run it that way.

    𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐇𝐔
    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
. eastern hunterxxxxxlocation; eastern camp (near warrior cabin)xxxxxmentions; tagxxxxxtags; loren

Vivian didn’t know why or how he had ended up near Loren in the first place. For weeks he had been trying to avoid crossing paths. He turned the other way when he even suspected the warrior may be approaching, and he even went as far as hiding within cabins until the young man was out of eyesight. So why was he here, standing a few inches away from him? And why did he feel like he had caught on fire, and was now one living flame? A flame of rage, or a flame of desire? Sparks were flying, but Vivian refused to admit they were anything positive. They couldn’t be. This was Loren he was conversing with.

Then the warrior opened his mouth, and a fresh, cool gush of air swept over him. Vivian let out a breath, closing his eyes for a fleeting second. Loren’s voice was the perfect mix of hot and cold; speak more, Vivian’s voice dared to say aloud, but silence lingered over him, and he did nothing more but stare back as the warrior continued on. At the same time, it took a lot not to turn and walk away right that very second. Vivian wanted to, needed to, but he was rooted to the spot. Loren was the fisher’s hook and bait, and Vivian was the perfect, hopeless target. There was no escaping now.

When he was sure Loren was done, Vivian leaned in closer, attempting ━ but evidently failing quite miserably ━ to keep eye contact with the warrior in front of him. He could feel his breath picking up, his heart rate increasing, and yet, absolute silence coursed through every one of his senses as he inched closer. He could practically taste the sweetness of Loren's lips, feel the softness of them; it was hard to ignore the desirable scent of blackberries and hibiscus that always seemed to linger on his person. Resist, resist. Only, it seemed not even that one simple word could stay on Vivian's mind. Oh, how hard it was to not grab Loren’s waist, or brush his fingertips, or run his hands through the silky hair of the warrior. To not cup his face and press his lips against Loren’s. To not lay a single finger, or even a hair, on him. He stopped at a location where he knew that if he leaned less than an inch forward, their lips would touch.

“What makes you think,” he started, his tone husky as he forced it under his breath, “I need anything from you?” His words weren’t snappish, nor snarly, but the furrowed brows and frown upon his features were surely enough to show Vivian’s displeasure. And discomfort. It was killing him to keep his distance.

But never in a million years would he reveal that to Loren. Never.

“Look,” he continued, forcefully backing away before he could do anything he regretted. He lifted his chin and cleared his throat, trying to snap out of whatever trance he had landed in. “I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to find Alessia and ask for a job. ‘How can I help?’ Four simple words.” But he knew Loren knew they weren’t nearly as busy as they pretended to be. The number of hours the two used to spend privately was almost shameful, but when they had so much free time, there wasn’t anything to feel guilty for. “Can’t you go…” He waved his hands. “…Guard something, or something? That’s what you do, is it not?” The bitter tone was agonizing, and Vivian hated himself for sounding that way. He knew if he let down the act for even a second, his feelings would spill out. And something told him that was not at all what Loren wanted to hear.

Connall Walker | 35 | Leader | Western | Tagging: Annora

Connall nodded. "Sounds like a plan. I haven’t seen Olivia today, but I think I saw Ryder hanging out close to the Warrior and Hunter hut," he remembered. Normally Ryder was one of the first to occupy himself with some sort of work or other. It worried Connall he’d been seen doing nothing in particular. He only did that when something was bothering him or he really wasn’t feeling himself. Maybe getting out there would help him get his head back in the game, and they needed all hands on deck if at all possible. They may be nearing spring, but for now, it was still the end of the cold season, and that meant everyone had to be doing their part.

"Also, I’ll be making the announcement about Leads and Second in Command today, so make sure you’re there. I’ll be waiting until the majority are back from their various duties. Give or take two or three hours from now. It’s long overdue that we have someone in those roles," he acknowledged.

Calista Armani | 29 | Hunter | Western | Tagging: Katherine

It was strange to Calista that many of them had lived almost their entire lives in the tribe since the fall of society eighteen years ago, and yet they still at times didn’t know each other by name. She knew of Katherine, though not by her nickname, and only because she was the Scout, an important role, rather than because of any personal encounters. However, there was a first time for everything, she supposed. That was how they had wound up separated into tribes, well away from their old, ruined homes in the first place.

"Kat, pleasure to meet you officially." Calista held out her hand. It felt wrong, not knowing one of her own tribemates personally when the tribe was so small as was. What we’re there, twelve of them? Thirteen? Tops. "I’m Calista, one of our group of Hunters." Okay. Group was pushing it, with how sadly low they were on numbers on the rank of Hunter. She wished they had more, they could bring in bigger game that way, but it was not to be, apparently.

Móraín Maria | 27 | Warrior | Eastern | Tagging: Cato, Alessia

Móraín dipped her head in greeting as their Leader approached. "Good morning, Alessia." She couldn’t suppress her curiosity at the words that followed. Surprise flashed through her. They’d searched for resources for so long and found precious few in all their years here. How could it be that suddenly running water of all things had been discovered? Not that she was about to complain about it. She sincerely hoped it turned out to be usable.

"Running water? Out here? Haven’t the Gatherers and Scout been searching for such things for many a year?" She asked doubtfully. However, she knew there wouldn’t be false reports of something they needed so desperately. No one could be THAT cruel. It was good news though, regardless of how surprising it was. It was definitely something to look into. "Of course, I’m ready to get moving whenever a hunting party is set up. Always glad to help where I can." She felt a little guilty for not having tried to set something up sooner, but she’d been pretty out of it all morning, and just trying to recover from some left over brain fog from a pretty terrible sleep the night before.

Kaden Turner | 19 | Captain | Eastern | Tagging: Emma

"Many people— especially those who are older and more experienced— may disagree, but I do see your point. I didn’t get to where I am by sitting around and doing nothing." Kade had been no more than an infant when society had fallen. He hadn't had the chance to get used to what life had been like before, but all the same, he had come to understand how dire the situation had been, how terrible it had come to the people who had survived who had become accustomed to life before, and he had always done his best for his tribe. They sheltered and fed him, and treated his injuries and illnesses when they came. He owed them his best efforts, at least.

"That kind of praise means a lot. I reckon you’re one of our most respected tribemates, as one of our doctors, and as one of the people who hasn’t given up hope, even when others have." Maybe Emma was more serious than some people he knew of, but to his knowledge, she had never given up entirely, even in the hardest moments. That was something to be held with respect in the world they lived in. "And…one day, things are going to be easier, we'll have more resources, more capability to make things easier on ourselves, and when we can, I’ll help you get that greenhouse. I know it’d make things easier on you guys, and goodness knows you guys need a break sometimes. I can imagine it must be stressful, there being only two doctors, and so many people to have patched up over the years." It was always hard to see people sick or injured. He could only imagine it was even worse for the doctors who had to be around it so often.

Kade chuckled quietly. "Oh I don’t think I’ve said magic words, everyone just tries to be extra careful in the cold season. I think we're all aware supplies run especially low when nothing grows." Kade reached for the teapot and filled it with water, carefully setting it over the fire to heat up. "Lemme see if we’ve got honey lemon." He sorted through the teas available. "One left! You’re in luck." He plucked it from the rack and set it to steep.

Olivia Willow Vextor/No preferred name or nickname/female/26 years old/Warrior of Western Tribe/Tags: Open/Location: Camp/Pansexual and Demisexual with no current information about romantic interests of relationships
Olivia was in the camp minding her own business. The long brown haired had her hair down her back today with a waviness to it. Her blue/gray eyes looked around the camp. She had not been called and didn’t want to upset her leader. She respected her leader highly and she certainly didn’t want to get on his bad side. She rarely smiled which was a weird thing to rarely smile. She took her job very seriously and maybe there was a small part of her that wanted to impress her leader. She was for sure though ready to start the days tasks. The camp she lived in was a snow covered ground place. Her coat made her feel a little bit warmer, but the harsh conditions were hard to stay warm from. If you were outside you were bound to get cold at some point, but Olivia focused all her energy on warm thoughts like campfires and torches. That helped to warm her up. The camp had locations for all the current roles in the camp: leader’s hut, trainee hut for “all” 10 trainees in the camp (That was sarcasm), Med hut, Warrior/Hunter’s hut and finally the Gatherers/Scouts/Artisans hut. Each one was in a small section of the camp leaving much space for activities within the camp and for the picnic tables in the middle. Outside of the camp was a dangerous place. Outside was where you could run into the other tribe, Eastern Tribe. Oh how she loathed that tribe. She was a Warrior and putting her life on the line to help the tribe and her tribe mates have a life without fear from Eastern Tribe. She would do anything to save her tribemates even if she came off as reserved, quiet, taking her job in the tribe seriously and serious in general. I mean she did know how to have fun, but most often she tended to the tasks within the tribe as her main priority. The forest was located nearby with a frozen over river separating the two territories of the two tribes.

Olivia returned her gaze to Connall…er she meant the leader and his partner, Annora. The leader had brown hair with light tan skin and was musuclar, a good thing for a leader to have. She hadn’t really interacted with him casually as she only did so for her job. She looked to the woman. She had blonde hair and like Connall, couldn’t remember what eye color she had. She thought it might be a good thing to see if he needed anything of her today. She took a deep breath and walked over. She said her voice not shaking, “So sorry if I am interrupting anything sir and madam, but I was wondering whether you needed my assistance in anything. I could round up some people to go on a hunt or some of the warriors to go check borders and do routines.” She looked and thought to herself, ah so he has greenish-hazel eyes, noted. She liked to understand the hair color and eye color of her tribe mates that way she could associate them with those features. It had dawned on Olivia that they could have been talking about something serious and she piped up again saying to both of them glancing to both of them, “I’m dearly sorry leaders if I had interrupted anything important. I understand if this is not a good time to interrupt your conversation. I can leave if you want me to so you can finish your conversation.”
