Jake laughed slightly "Yeah, Danny just loves the taste of rope." he joked and quickly unchained Axel and allowed him to run around "We did alright, got 3rd in the Campdrafting, 2nd in Flags, 3rd in the Bonfield Bounce and 1st in Diamond Flags." he replied as he closed the float ramp and locked it into place.

I hold onto Danny for him. "Good job."I sad to him and gave Danny a pat. I looked up to the sky, It was sunny, not a cloud to be seen. I looked over to Missy. She was getting restless as she wanted to go for a ride. I looked back over to Jake. "You wanna go for a ride?"I asked handing Danny's lead rope to him.

Jake smiled at the compliment "Not at the moment, I think i'm just gonna give Danny a wash down then put him in the paddock." he replied, really wanting to just sit down for a while and to give Danny a rest. His eyes looked around for a minute "Danny needs a hair cut, he's turning into a zebra." he joked, he usually clipped Danny's mane off for the whole ASH look but he had forgotten to do it for the weekend, resulting in someone painting white stripes in the animal's mane.

I looked at him. Yeah, that is a good idea."I said looking at Danny. "I help you wash Danny down and cut his mane."I said smiling at him. After that, I better take Missy for a ride.

Jake nodded "Feel free to help me wash him down, he could use a good scrub but I better do his mane on my own, you know how he gets with people touching his head and ears." he replied, starting to lead the gelding over to where the horse was "Do you mind holding him while I get my horse shampoo?" he asked Jade politely then glanced as a ute and trailer came down the driveway "Looks like Indira's back from her holiday."

Indira jumped out of the car the instant she arrived at the familiar homestead, she hadn't been here in a while as she had been visiting her mother up in Longreach for the past 5 months since her father had gone overseas to see an old friend. She waved to the familiar faces and unloaded Woodstock who was looking magnificent if she did say so herself.

I smiled at him. "Sure."I said taking his lead rope. I patted him on the nose. Hello Boy. Arent; you a handsome one."I said to him. I looked up and saw Indira. I waved to her. I saw Duke. He was such a handsome horse.I looked over to Missy. She looked like she was annoyed that I said I would help. She rested her left back hoof and closed her eyes.

Jake jogged over to his ute and gave Indira a wave on the way over, she was lucky to have a horse like Woodstock, a magnificent looking beast with the best canter you could ever sit to. He grabbed his horse shampoo and walked back over to Jade and smiled as he watched Danny nibble affectionately on the girls shirt.

Indira said goodbye to her uncle and picked up Duke, the puppy. She led Woody around for a minute then headed over to the pair that were standing "Turns out that Mum had a late Christmas present for me." she stated as she put the cattle dog pup on the ground "His name's Duke." she added as the pup jogged beside Woodstock, avoiding the horses hooves.

I giggled as Danny nibbled at my shirt. I pated him on the nose. I looked up at Indira. I smiled at her. As she showed as the puppy, I went to pat it. "Hello little one. You are a cutie."I said as he licked my hand. I stood back up. "Long time no see.'I said smiling at her.

Jake let the girls get caught up and went to play with the tap, it usually got stuck and took some effort of turn on but he found it easy today. Once the tap was on he let the water circulate for a minute to make sure that it was nice and cool for when he washed down Danny.

Indira nodded "I reckon!" she replied and gave Jade a small hug "I would stay and chat for a minute but I gotta get Woodstock settled in to his paddock again" she replied with a smile and started leading the stallion to his small paddock.

I hugged her back. "That is fine."I said turning back to Danny. I patted him on the nose. "Now, are you ready for a wash?'I asked. I looked up and saw Jake coming over with the hose. I grabbed hold ok the lead, as I had let it hang because I was patting him and talking to him. I smiled at Jake.
