He woke up that morning with his mind reeling. He wondered if sloths were allowed as pets in America, probably not, maybe, just maybe...did unicorns exist in heaven? Hopefully. He jumped up and pulled on a new pair of worn jeans and a bright teal bro tank. He tucked his treasured dog tags under the bro tank and looked through his shoes, pulling out his red Vans and clumsily tying the laces. He was already anxious for school but glad he had his friends who he knew would help if the bullying happened again this year, it probably would. He ran downstairs and grabbed a can of Pringles before waving goodbye to his mom and three younger sisters who left for school a half hour later then him. He went out the front door and headed for the park on his skateboard, hoping someone was already there, he hated getting there first where he might meet a stranger and things just got weird.

Doll puffs out her cheeks, pouting as she set down her little puffball Boo in the baby gated pen that her parents kept him in so he wouldn't get himself stuck somewhere when no one was home. She tugs on her backpack, waving goodbye to her kitten with one floppy sleeved arm of her dull red sweater. The blonde starts the short walk to the park, adjusting her bangs with her covered hand as well as she could only to have them flop back over her eye.

His hair was still damp when he left the house, saying goodbye to Dodge before exiting the house. "See ya later, dipstick.
I'll be back if I don't die or the like," he said in a monotone voice before pulling his bag over his shoulder and shutting the
door behind him. Not at all excited to be back at school, he walked a slow crawl all the way to the park, where he would
meet his friends and then would walk to the school together. Matt had hurried out of the home so quickly, he was still
pulling his white quarter-sleeve shirt down over his black jersey shorts as he exited the neighborhood. Fantasizing about
the school closing or nap times during classes, it wasn't long until his footfalls soon hit the dark grass of the park. Pulling
the strap of his backpack over his other shoulder, he scoured the area to look for his friends.

Harley sat on a bench in the park, shaded by the trees. He let out a shaky sigh as he put an earbud in, playing Paramore loudly and closing his eyes. After a moment he remembered something and panicked, his eyes fluttering open and moving down to his arms. He pressed his lips together and felt only slightly relieved, pulling the sleeves of his flannel over his hands just to make sure they didn't slip up at all. He glanced around the park, and jumped slightly as he spotted Matt. "Over here," He called, pausing his music but not bothering to take the earbud out.

i wake up and yawn i then jump up and get dressed running downstairs .i grab my skateboard and run out of the house calling out ," bye ." to my brother . i skate to the park and end up running into jonas as he goes to the park on his skateboard .as i come closer to him and end upcrashing into him ," ooh mann im so sorry i diddnt see ya are you ok jo jo ." i ask politley . the nickname i call him is jo jo if you havent noticed .i get up slowly and brush off my jean mini shorts .i adjust the bag on my back and look down at jonas .

Rose's phone buzzed again on the kitchen table. She was eating breakfast/denying boys the privilege to drive her to school. She hates walking to school, but she does to be with her friends. She's thankful they picked a meeting place visible from her house. She jump up to the kitchen window and sees Harley and maybe Matt in the distance already at the park. She quickly washes her dishes, grabs her bag and begins to walk over to meet them.

"Hey!" She said smiling, hugging them both tightly along arrival. "Excited for the first day of school!?" She asked bobbing up and down. Rose genuinely liked school. She liked to learn different things, and she felt like a bit of a queen when she walked around the halls.

He let out a shriek and jumped off his skateboard before he fell, picking it up and brushing himself off. "Sierra I'm a terrible human being." He said as he looked up at her. "Women take so long. And I never said bye to Rainy, how could I? I rushed and Mai. Mai didn't get her treat." He huffed and started walking to the park with her, then realized they had run into each other, literally. "Oh are you okay?" He asked, trying to hide how scared of school he was.

"About as excited as I am to get stabbed in the face." Harley replied smartly, smirking. He glanced down at her (as he was quite a bit taller) and flustered slightly, but hid it well. 'She's so... freakin' pretty. Gosh.' "I see you're excited." He remarked, taking a step back and placing his hands on his hips tiredly. He tilted his head to the side and smiled warmly at her, even though his entire body was sore from having to go through rigorous PT for the past two weeks. Being in JROTC isn't as easy as it seems.

Smiling when he finally came across a figure, Harley, waving him over, he quickly ran over to find who it was.
"You ready for school? I'd say I'm not, but my parents forced me out last night and I had nothing to do, so I only
just now bought all my school supplies," he grumbled under his breath. There wasn't much of a reason to be
excited to go back to class. Matt usually didn't bother to get any of his school items until the first week into
school, when all the heavy duty assignments would be starting. He hated to have to be tied down and forced
to listen to the droning of teachers who wanted to be there even less than the students.

"Hey, Rose," he introduced as she popped in to the conversation. "Excited? I wouldn't say particularly. At least
I get to see everyone again. I heard one of the senior girls in our class got a jacked-up nose job. So, that's
something for me to look forward to," he said with a lopsided grin. He couldn't help but feel excitement as
he anticipated the botched face of spoiled teenager.
