----- Era is really shy, and she has a hard time trusting people and making friends. She doesn't like to get close to people, because she's afraid that they'll hurt her, or she'll hurt them. She is very nice once you get to know her. Era likes to be alone, and is very independent. She hates having any attention brought to her, and she is very quiet.

----- Era was born on December 17, 1996 in Burlington Vermont. Her parents didn't want her, but they weren't able to give her up for adoption(unknown reasons) Her parents started to beat her when she turned 4, and that lasted till she was 12, when she ran away. When she was 3, her baby sister, Aj, was born. Era loved her with all her heart, and protected her from her parents. When she was 9, her sister 6, her and her sister went outside to play. While playing hide and seek, her sister was kidnapped. She was missing for two weeks, and then found dead in a dumpster, obviously murdered. Her parents loved her sister more than her, and blamed her for Aj's death. When she was 12, she finally had enough of her parents, and ran away from them. She was put into foster care, and then adopted out by a nice couple with three older sons. Those three raped her, and she ran away a second time. When she went back in the foster care program, she was adopted out by a nice couple who she is currently living with. Just about 2 months ago, she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. When she was 6, she nearly drown a total of 6 times, making her fear water.

Well, when his father found out he had started ballet, he was beyond furious, and nearly kicked him out of the house(he was only 4 at the time) His mother moved out with him and got full custody of him and he lived happily. He's been taking dance classes since he was 4, and know is very good. When he was 6, he was attacked by a dog, making him hate dogs.

Sophia sat in one of the dark-red seats of the Academy's auditorium, playing with her hair nervously. She'd arrived at the Academy less than 24 hours before, and was now sitting in the front row along with 19 of the best dancers of her age group--in the world. She was still a bit in shock; trying to wrap her mind around the fact that she'd gotten in. The most prestigious dance academy in the world. Sinclair Academy of Dance. And she was sitting before Tasha Sinclair herself.
Ms. Sinclair was standing at the front of the shiny stage, watching the 20 new students who were lined up in the front two rows of the center section; 10 in the first row, 10 in the second. Alternating boy-girl. Very organized.
"Welcome," Ms. Sinclair said in a proud, clear voice, "to the Sinclair Academy of Dance. The twenty of you have been hand-picked to study here, and I expect that you will be honored by the fact that you have been chosen. Over the next four years, you will focus on the arts of ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip hop--without forgetting your other studies, of course. The curriculum here is taxing, and we expect that you are prepared for it.
Twenty of you sit before me today. Before you graduate, five will be forced to leave because of injury. Another five will be expelled for behavior issues, or lack of skill. Of the ten that remain, at least one will never make a career in the professional dance world. That leaves a maximum of nine that will have a career. Four of those will become principal dancers. One, at most, will retire with a reputation that future generations will look up to. Even we cannot prepare you fully for what awaits you after your graduation. This is not a place for social lives, relationships, or distractions. I am, of course, aware that you will have these, as you are teenagers. But dance must be your first priority, no exceptions." Sophia's eyes widened a bit at the speech, and she chewed on her lower lip. Ms. Sinclair studied her clipboard for a moment before looking back up.
"Now, please come up onstage when I call your name. Katrina Andrews."
Sophia looked around, waiting for the girl to stand. She couldn't help but wonder what Ms. Sinclair had in store, not to mention that she was nervous about being last. With a last name like Walsh, she was always last.

Era sat in one of the red chairs of the auditorium, looking up at Ms. Sinclair. She had arrived eight hours ago, and still felt a bit tired from the Jet Lag. She felt nervous sitting next to the 19 best dancers of her age group.. In the world! She still didn't know how she'd gotten in, her audition seemed like a failure to her. She sat in the last seat of the second row, left side. It helped her with her eye sight, due to the fact she was blind in the right. She started to zone out, but forced herself to stay focused. She looked up as Ms.Sinclair started to call names. Good, I'll be one of the last ones.... hopefully! She waited quietly for her name to be called, and glanced at the boy next to her, then back up at Sinclair. Once again, her mind started to wonder.

Drake watched Ms. Sinclair, bored out of his mind. He glanced around, trying to figure out what to do. He rested his head on his hand, and sighed. He was a bit jumpy after getting off the plane and arriving. He needed something to do before he lost it. He hated to sit for long periods of time without doing something. He started to tap his foot softly to get out his jitters. He heard Ms. Sinclair call out the first girl and looked around to see where she was. Sit still! Gosh.
