Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

"Yeah?" said Liam, sliding down the wall until he was sitting on the ground. He pulled off one of his boots to fish a rock out, and his sock was more hole than cotton. Even if the armory sold the best weapons in town, it didn't stop the brothers from being quite poor. When their parents had died, there wasn't a will, so the money went to the Queen's treasury, with none left for the two boys.

"Well, you seem like you dont like pirates." ALexa said, sitting next to him. "But I'm a pirate myself." She said in a soft whisper.

"Is that so?" said Liam gamely, but his eyes were suddenly shadowed. "Well, you're right. I'm not fond of pirates in the normal scheme of things." He looked up at her, shadowed eyes passing over the girl darkly. "When I was young, my brother Darius and I were in training to become armorers here. There was a pirate attack, and all of the men were called to duty. Pa went off to fight, and he never came home. Ma died in a fire caused by pirate shot on the tailoring shop near the wharf."

"I'm sorry." Alexa said. She watched the street, not looking at Liam. She would understand if Liam hated her.

"You don't seem like a pirate, though," said Liam, glancing at Alexa. "I mean... a dress?"

"That's Melody's doing. She forced me into it." Alexa said, plucking at it. "I hate dresses."

Liam grinned and said, "I think you look good. Who's Melody, anyways? Another pirate?"
[If Melody could hear him, she'd be all offended. "An actress!" she'd cry. "Merely playing a part!"]

"An actress. A very girly one." Alexa said. She pulled at the dress.

Liam laughed, and said, "Let me guess- she took your regular clothes so you couldn't change back into them?"

"I dont know." ALexa said.
