"Yeah, I've been waiting for something good too happen. This week has been dreadfully boring." She said into the phone, happily. It was Miranda, her Brazilian BFF from when she lived in Brazil. Long story short, Marilyn moved too Brazil too help out missionary work with her father. Gripping a pole for balance, the girl pulled out a fairly big rock out of her shoe... how did it even get there? Tossing it behind her, she heard the clunk of it hitting the side of a car. Wincing, Marilyn walked a bit faster just in case the owner decided to chase her down- or whatever. As Miranda kept talking, Marilyn's attention was driven too the Starbucks across the road. "Damn it, the day I forget my wallet..." Her green flecked eyes closed for a moment, as she tried to push away the thought of delicious coffee. Brushing back her long ponytail, full of cinnamon brown and blonde hair, Marilyn pretended too listen too what Miranda was saying. But a sentence caught her by full force for some unknown reason. 'Sammy is very cute.' Marilyn pulled the phone away from her face for a hot second, why would a girl five million miles away from where they were, know who Sammy is? Then Marilyn remembered that recently Miranda had been surfing through her face book friends- she had probably seen Sammy there. Taking a deep breath, the girl put on a happy tone. "You think so? Well, uh I guess your right...." Momentarily lost in thought, Marilyn had turned the corner fast, ramming into a guy walking in the opposite direction. "Miranda? I'll have to call you back... I think I just killed someone!!" Shutting her phone and putting it deep in her pocket; Marilyn stooped down to help the boy up. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, are you okay?" she asked quickly.
