Cassie takes out her phone and takes pictures of the woods and animals.

Maddie walked down the dock, took off her flip-flops, and stuck her feet in the warm water.

Cassie goes and sits down next to Maddie. "How long have you lived here?"

"About a year. We move around a lot for my dad's work. It's hard, but I've learned to accept it, I guess." Maddie sighed.

"Oh, yeah me and Jason just recently moved here. WE barely know anyone except you and a couple others," Cassie explains.

"It's especially hard to move in high school." Maddie looked down at her feet, which were making little circles in the water.

"Yeah i know. I had to move about 3 times out my high school years. But i believe were going to stay here now," Cassie says tapping her fingers on the dock.

"I hope I can stay here. It's much nicer than my old town. Everyone was awful, I think I got into three bad relationships during the four months I was there."
