Ortenza sat quietly through the (rather short) assembly, tapping her heel and sighing when it was over, standing quickly as others around her did the same. Truthfully, Ortenza wasn't really looking forward to the school year- she hated being new in town and not knowing anybody- but so far, things seemed okay. On the brighter side of things, nobody had bothered her yet. She wasn't sure where she was supposed to go from here, so she trailed behind the other students, hoping at least some of them knew what was going on.

"Really? All that for nothing?" Beryl asked nobody in particular when they were dismissed, standing and running her hand through her wild, pink hair. She rolled her eyes as she watched the students leaving, unsure of where to go but eager to get to class and actually do something productive. After a moment, she finally headed towards the door with some of the other students, keeping an eye out for class schedules.
