She smiled at Spence as she walked, she didn't know what it was, but instead of hating him, she felt like she could be nice to him here, where no one could see. "Here you go, Spence. Sky put her pencil and notebook in her backpack, as she said softly, "I'm proud of you for this morning." A shocked expression covered her face as the words slipped out of her mouth, What did I just say? The teen kept her eyes away from the boy and continued to rearrange her backpack.
