Ezvar growled a little at the two, they didn't know what they were getting themselves into, if anything he had... had been... no he had been being annoying as usual. He stuck his hands in his pockets, his normal angry miserable look about him "At least you've seen the outside world, at list your Mom didn't kill herself, at least your Dad isn't broken." he muttered to himself, walking away so he couldn't be seen or heard. He walked over the the meat was, he had always had a strange craving for meat.

"At least you had a chance." She mumbled, overhearing Ezvar. She rolled her eyes, then rethought. It was a hard life for everyone here, but making it worse was not the case. She started eating her salad and looked at her wirstband. As if that would indicate that her life was alright

He pointed at an open place at the other end of the cafeteria. "Over there looks like the only place where we can sit together." He said with a smile, grabbing her hand again and leading her over. ((GAAH! Short post! I gotta go for now but will do more when I get back.! ))

Zara blushed, following him. She sat down and gazed at him.
"All we need is the moon and candlelight." She joked lightly, letting her hand grasp his underneath the table. With her other hand she took a bite of fruit. Gazing into his eyes she smiled.

Ezvar whilred around angirly, wanting to through one of the steak knives in his hand at the girl, got a chance? Got a chance for what!? "My life is worse than anyone here! I've never seen the outside world, my mother killed herself and my Dad is to obsessed with his damn violin to listen to me! He doesn't even know any songs other than the one he played at my mom's funeral! Sure it ain't a picnic for you or anyone here but it's sure hell for me!" he shouted, burrowing into her mind, she had lost her mother but that wasn't half of what he had been through, and she dared to think that his time was only just as bad as everyone elses?

He slowly spread ranch on his salad with a plastic spoon and laughed at Zara's joke. "And it would help if we both weren't in an insane asylum!" He added. He suddenly winced at what he had said. He wasn't sure whether or not that was a touchy subject for her or not. He blushed and got ready to say sorry at any change in character.

"Hey Jay!" She suddenly perked up. "You wanna go get lunch or something?" She knew that there had been a lot of tension here lately and she wanted to cheer people up as well as she could. It was just about noon so that was most likely where everyone was bound to be. She also hoped she would see the doctor on the way as she knew days like this stressed him out.

"Oh! Um, hi!" Odysseus squeaked. He quickly brushed his hand over the bunny outline. "I'm sorry... I was just... Relaxing. I'm Odysseus... Who are you?" Odysseus had seen this girl around before, but never really talked to her. Not that that was unusual. He didn't know most of the people here. She must be new. He thought.

Zara looked down and sighed, laughing just a little. It was a slight chuckle, but still a little cheerful.
"I'm not really insane, and I know you aren't one for touchy-feely stories but." She laughed, shaking her head. Her eyes glazed over with the memories.
"I was five when it started. I had these dreams about a snake and my brother. Only I didn't have a brother. I remember them even now." Zara shook her head. Flashbacks of those sleepless, horror-filled nights as a young toddler flashed through her mind. Visions of the dreams resurfaced after long years of hiding them under layers of protection.
"A few months later my mom said she was pregnant. When the baby was born it was a boy- and I remembered the face. He was the brother from my dreams." Zara blinked back tears. As she said the next few words her voice cracked.
"During a picnic he died when a snake choked him to death." She bit her lip, nearly drawing blood. She took a deep breath, regathering herself.
"Since then I had these dreams every night. Each one told of the future. Each one got more horrifying. Until one day it got so bad that lashed out. I almost killed him, and they put me here."

He had tears in his eyes by the end of the story. "That must be hard to live with." He said taking hold of her other hand. She had her head bowed trying to hide the tears and he grabbed her chin and pushed it up lightly so that they looked eye to eye. "You are the sweetest girl that I've EVER met! And if for any reason you need someone to come to during the night, I am here for you. You are the only person I've met so far that I don't think at least DESERVES to be here." He sat looking into her eyes, waiting for her to decide when to pull away. That must have been the hardest thing in the world to cope with. Always seeing the future in dreams.
