serena had an interesting first day at school. she'd found out that most of the kids there hung out by the bowling alley after school, so she headed there. instead of wearing her normal get up, she wore jeans, a regular t-shirt, and a pair of black Converse sneakers. she decided to start off her afternoon by renting out bowling shoes and an alley. but then after paying, she realized she would look stupid playing with nobody. nobody just goes around and plays by themselves.

She walked through the door and went over to the pool table. She started playing with some people and handed out invites to her party. She saw a girl from school named Serena and walked over to her. "Hey Serena! What's up?" she asked.

"uh, oh hi." serena smiled. she wasn't usually just shy. she was just sorta surprised to see someone here, though she should have expected it. "how'd you know my name?" she wondered aloud, at this point, she'd never become cool.

"We go to the same school." Emerson told her. "Hey! I was wondering if you wanted to come to my party tomorrow?" She asked her. Emerson pulled out an invitation from her purse and held it out for Serena.
