Briana smiles and watches her dogs play with the other dog as she goes onto the dry land. She feels her phone vibrate so she pulls It out and answers in irish after seeing that it was her mom. Briana's face expression goes from happy to disbelief which quickly goes to sadness and shock. She whispers a bye as the phone slipped out of her numb fingers and stands there in shock and silence as the phone landed on the ground.

Jace looks at briana.he picks up her phone"hey what's wrong"he said looking at her."you where happy a minute ago"

Briana looks at Jace with a shocked expression and says in a small voice, "I just found out that my father is gone." She doesn't say that the funeral is the next day as she sits down on the ground before her legs had a chance to give out on her.

Briana glances at Jace before looking at the ground as her dogs came to the two, sensing that something was wrong. She sighs softly as she gently takes her phone from Jace and puts it in her pocket as the delayed tears started to seep out of her eyes right when she whispers, "I loved him. We were going to do things throughout the summer."

Jace sits their listening not knoknowing what to say."he sounds like an awesome father."his phone buzzes for him to go to work but he ignores it.he looks at the ground.his phone buzzes again he would hate to leave her sad in all."I'm very sorry I have to go in sorry again your father passed if you need anyone to talk to I'm here but I have to got to work text me or call ill be always be here for you"he said smiling little and it fades.he gets up and dust off the dirt and whistles for spike.spike comes running and barking.he gives her his number and waves bye walking way

"Thanks, you have a 'nice' name too." I quoted his slip up, obviously meaning what he originally said. "They've called me many things." I dismissed the question with a hand gesture, choosing not to think about those things. "Yeah, so meet me here then?" I asked with a smile, still blushing. I then remembered that he actually asked where something was and I still sucked at my job. Clicking enter, I looked at the results, and plucked a small white tab of noting paper from its stack. Writing down a few training book titles and their numbers, I added on an impulse, my phone number at the bottom with a little note saying 'call me?' My handwriting was legible, but not by much, I critically looked at each letter, making sure Tanner could actually read it before holding it out for him to take.

Tanner smiled and took the note. He chuckled. "I'll call you when I think your off work." He said and added his number to his phone. "Bye, see you in three hours." He said an walked off to find his books. He got two different books before having someone else check them both out. Tanner left the library and starte to train his dog when he got home.
