TJ smiled and talked to Bosco as the stallion drank some water. 10 minutes later, he went inside and went to his room. He turned over the TV channels to see what was on. He found a channel with a horse race and heard that Ruffian was competing. "Yeah!"

He shrugged. "Sometimes things just happen for a reason." he looked at his hand. "Sierra isn't competing, but Im not surprised."

As they were interviewed, Ruffian looked around, nipping at her shoulder as she looked into the camera. Amber smiled and pet Ruffian. Then the announcer started speaking to the camera, "Ruffian will be competing as number 3, odds 1-8. This is her first great race, but now we move on to DoReMiFaSoLaTiDo! (Yes I actually saw a horse named that.) The line up will be,



One, Almunda, odds 5-7
Two, Orquidea, 3-4
Three, Ruffian, 1-8
Four.. , DoReMiFaSoLaTiDo 5-6
Five, Linda 3-2
Six, Manda 1-2
Seven, Zita, 5-6
Eight, Arcilla 9-8
Nine, Virginia 3-7
Ten, Osane 3-2!"

Amber was trembling as she looked at Ruffian, her odds were not good.

Matt looked at Zack. "Well, Ruffian has been racing since she was about a year old, which is why. BUT STILL."

He shrugged again. "I can't believe Ruffian was picked, she threw me off of her! Is that race material? She'll probably buck off the jockey."

Matt sighed and scowled, kind of angry at hearing this which was surprising. "It's not like she means to Zack, she gets excited. She didn't buck you either, she skids to stops because she wants to be precise." he retorted.

"WHAT!?" yelled TJ. "Only 1-8? That ain't good. I hope she does well" he said to himself. "Stupid announcer."

Amber waited patiently as her dad stroked and groomed Ruffian. "You'll do fine." He said. Amber nodded.

"Well, I don't know Ruffian well." he walked out of the room and walked to his dorm, and turned the tv on.

(Oh and you kinda power played me, you said ruffian skidded to a halt and zack flew off)

"Oh my god he is so annoying." Matt sighed and face palmed.

Zack heard that comment, both doors were open. He shut it and started crying. He wanted to take everyone he liked, Paige, Maddie, Sierra.... And leave. He had a competition that day, and he was riding in it, he swung his sling across the room and it hit the bathroom wall.
