Alaska walked down the street, glancing into windows of stores. She sighed, pulling out her empty wallet. "Oh well! Theres always next time..." She mumbled, pushing back into her pocket. She continued, quietly humming.

Jax kicked his legs out, sipping a cup of warm coffe on his front steps. The night had been boring. Work, nap, and now, nothing. He would occasionaly attempt to flirt with a passing girl, but they always scowled at him. Jax must've looked like a scraggly hobo. He shrugged and lit a cigarette, the smoke dancing from it hanging in the dry air.

Alaska looked at the man that almost looked... Like a hobo. Stuipedly, she walked up to him. "Do you need money??" She asked, face palming. "I-I Mean..." She sighed, bending down. "Sorry..."

Jax shook his head and yanked the smoke from his mouth. "Oh, not you too." The man chuckled, raking a hand through his mixmatched shaggy hair with a casual smile. Jax took another drag before dropping the tabaco-filled stick onto the bare cement. With a quick slip of his sneaker, he extinguished the lit butt.
