Milo flipped himself right side up and looked at Alexa. "Ain't you the cap'n?"

Xaria smiled widely. Her uncle would never see her again and she was glad of it. She sat down with a sigh, content and carefree for the first time in years. "I'll be fine. Seasickness isn't a problem." She reassured.

"I run crew. She makes main decisions. But yes, we are both captains." Alexa said.

"Well then," said Milo, slightly put out. "Where is Liza, then, so I can ask her?"

[Falls]

Tess turned her attention to the food supply and randomly picked out some stuff and shoved it all in her mouth. It was gone in a few gulps and she marched back up into the sunlight armed with a mop. "I better get back to work." She mumbled, casting a small wave toward Xaria. "Tell me what Captain says when she gets here."

"Liza is at the pub." Alexa said.

"So," announced Milo, thrusting his thumbs into his belt. "Off to the pub I go! If you're all lucky, I'll be able to come back sober. Probably, since I'm broke and without coin for free water, much less rum."

Alexa laughed and handed him two coins. "You better bring one back for me." she said.

"Sure thing," said Milo with a grin, touching his forehead with due respect for his captain. He pocketed the coins and strode out of the galley, down the plank and onto the shore. From here he found his way to the pub and entered, waving a hand to clear some of the thick blue smoke from the various cigars that people were smoking inside.

Tess rolled her eyes at Milo's statement and grimaced. She had never tried rum before, she just couldn't get past the foul smell. "Have fun," She mumbled as he walked off the deck. Tess sighed and straightened her scarred back with a painful series of cracks and looked to Alexa. "Permission to go to shore and get some clothes please?" She pulled at the rags that she hadn't changed out of since Liza freed her from the slave galley.
