Emily smiled and blushed."why thank you. So what do you think of school and everything so far?" She asked since she knew he was new.

I tilted my head side to side and said "so far so good. I chose an exciting time to come, you know, with winter formal and everything. I'm still trying to find my way around and I suppose my only friend so far is you." I reply

Emily smiled."that's ok I'm sure you will meet many people soon enough. So are you going to the winter formal?" She asked curiously. She herself wasn't sure about going to the winter formal because of her daughter and she didn't have a date.

When he answered I smiled.
"Good. So, any ideas of outfits?" I asked as I was stirring his cup.
"Oh and, do you want whipped cream?"

I shrugged. "Well you are right about meeting people but I'm not sure. I don't have a date and I would hate to be that awkward guy alone in the corner"

I looked around the shop and spotted two things and showed them to Jeremy. "This? Or would you like this? I personally like the tie.", I said handing both of them to him.

Emily smiled and laughed a bit." I'm sure you can find a date." She said lightly. She blushed and bit her lips cutely.

He thought for a moment, and shook his head. "Not really, but I look the best in black." He tilted his head and smiled. "No whipped cream, thanks. Do you have anything in mind?" He asked.

Jeremy holds both in his hands and puts them up to his neck. He looks over them each a few times. "Yeah, I'm definitely feeling the tie. Let's go ahead and get it," he says, handing the original and bow ties back to her.
