Cheyenne nodded, listening. "Oh, she sounds important." She said before he talked about his family being murdered. "I-I'm sorry to hear that." She said, looking up a little. She would've rested a gentle hand on his knee but she couldn't see where he sat so she kept to herself.

Jeremy felt her arms around his neck with the blade near his skin. "I don't have to say or do a d*mn thing." He said, taking his pocket knife and slicing her arm that held the knife. He then pulled her arms from around him. "Leave now!" He said, his deep voice booming.

"It's not your fault, if anything it's my mom's for making her duty to her country more important than her family. But what's done is done and I don't like to dwell on it so much. I dream about it often enough after all, and that's plenty for me." Adrast replied with a wry shrug of his shoulders. "What about you if... if you don't mind saying. I won't pry if it hurt to much."

"never!" her voice was like a coarse whisper. She ignored the big cut on her arm and tried again, holding his knife hand and squeezing the other round his neck. pinning him against the wall she widened her eyes in anger "let me know one d*mn thing will you!" she didnt like this, fighting the people she wanted to help, but sometime you have to do what you have to do.

Cheyenne nodded, looking down now. "Well, I'm in here 'cause I tried to kill my foster dad." She said, trying to stay calm. "He's the one who did this." She said, pulling her back from the scars that marred most of her face. "That and caused me to become blind." She said in a voice so quiet that it was barely a whisper as she tried to keep composure as she spoke. "I have to get out to finish what I tried to end." She said, mainly to herself.

Jeremy was now furious. He managed to spin it around to where he pinned her to the wall. "Fine. I'm not gonna help you especially if you're gonna act like a pushy little b**ch." He hissed, annunciating each word slowly. "Now leave me alone or else you might end up losing a finger or two." He threatened with a sneer, his eyes black as night.

"I tried to be nice but you pushed me over the limit!" She let go of her knife. a shakey breath escaped her lungs."o-oh god....." she faced Jeremy with sorrowful eyes. blinking the tears out she hung her head on his shoulder. she let her body go limp as she began to sniff.... yep, this time she was gonna acually cry.

Jeremy shook his head. "Yeah, well, maybe next time you'll be able to take a hint I don't want your kindness." He said, his voice cold. He grabbed a rag and threw it to her, bringing her to her feet to help her out of his room before closing the door and the little door to cover the bars to completely close himself in his room. He shook his head. "Sooner or later people will learn that when I say a threat, I almost always follow through." He said with a wicked sneer.

She sat there. on her knees in the middle of the hallway. her golden hair drapped over her eyes that were wide in disbelief. she ddint want to move. she didnt want to stay either. she has never fought someone without a good reason before.... it felt....so...so wrong! She bit her lip and held back the tears. she slowly dragged herself down the hallway. blood trickled down her arm and dripped off her fingers.

Erica

Erica giggled. "I'm not denying it, I'm just mildly doubtful." she replied through laughter at him and his attempt to keep a straight face. Then again she wasn't much better at it. She opened her food and ate some of it happily. Erica had always enjoyed Chinese food, and this was quite decent with rather surprised her.

Antonio couldn't keep from grinning as he ate his dinner. He loved being around Erica, he loved her and now she got to stay with him. He'd be able to fulfil that promise of letting nothing bad happen to her. He took his empty tray and tossed it into the garbage, taking a look around the room for something else to do or talk about. "I saw your drawings. You're far to modest." he said leaning against the counter. Her drawings were amazing or maybe that was only his opinion, with his drawings it was hard to decide what the picture was of.

Erica

Erica ate the rest of her food, finishing a bit after Antonio did. She tossed her tray in the trash and smiled at him. "I know, but I don't like to brag really." she replied going over to him. and leaned against the counter and setting her head against her shoulder. "But thank you." she added at the end with a smile.

Adrast

Adrast listened to her explanation with a sad look on his face. He reached out slowly and set the tips of his fingers on her hand. "I'm sorry that happened to you. That's not right, for someone to do something like that. But the only way out of here is become sane, I know I asked the same thing."

Cheyenne reflexively pulled her hand back when Adrast's fingertips touched her. "Not your fault. It was my own for not running when I had the smallest chance." She muttered. "I'll do my darndest to escape." She said.
