Liza carried Patric over to the side of the ship. "On three we will let him go. 1....2....3!" she said and released Patric.

James let go of his legs and watched as he floated away.

"So what now, Patric is dead, Ella is captured, Milo is a traitor. And we don't have the man power to rescue Ella."

"We leave, and wait until they give her back. We'll go back to our normal lives." James said.

"I think we have to." Liza said with a sigh. "Ok I know where we need to go. We can even look for some gold while we are there."

Indigo perched on the railing nearby, eavesdropping. "I say we board the ship and kill every man jack o' them," she noted casually. "Of course, that's just my personal opinion."

Milo turned into the darkness so Ella wouldn't see his face, dragging her to the dark, damp brig.

"And we will, in time. But right now we need to think of whats best for us and for Ella." Liza replied.
