Patric blanched slightly, but in the dark armory it would be impossible to see. "Of course," he lied, not thinking anything of it. "It's over there, with the other daggers." He gestured to a trunk in the corner with one thumb.

Ella smiled. "I ould love to dump her off the side. But we need answers." She said. "What do you think Milo did that's so bad?" Ella asked, remembering that she had mentioned something earlier.

"Ok. " Liza said believing his lie. "Well What did she do after I left. I already asked Ella, but I want to here your story.I think he joint the Navy."

"Crap." Ella mumbled. Navy soldiers always got assigned jobs to hunt down pirate ships.

"I'm sure it's fine, Ella," said Patric, giving her shoulder a comforting squeeze. He looked at Liza, and shrugged. "What Ella told you is the entire story. Alexa told him that if he and Ella were to be together, one of them might get hurt. She said it like she would do something awful on purpose. So Milo packed a bag and left. I tried to stop him, see, but he yelled at me. I went inside. I heard it start to rain, so I went out to make sure the supplies were covered. I saw Ella sitting on the deck by herself. I brought her back to her cabin, and Alexa locked us in before I could leave."

"Why do you think she locked you guys inside?" Liza asked both trying to figure out the queation herself.

"I have absolutely no idea," said Patric with a shrug. "Maybe she's a little bit insane?"
