Alex grinned as he watched the three of the cats play around with each other, until he looked down at his watch. "Time to feed you, little ones." he said with a light laugh as the three cats nearly jumped out of their fur at the mention of food. He headed into a small house and brushed his bright ginger hair back as he swiftly rationed the right quantity. He heard the others speaking outside and turned to look at them for a second. "I could speak to someone." Alex said simply in his head as he divided the meal for each sand cat. Soon he went outside carrying the food and he was just about to enter when - Suddenly Alex tripped on something, most likely a cable or some marbles, and banged his head on the tough iron door, also spilling half of the food. "Great way to start." he said to himself sarcastically, rubbing his slightly pink forehead. With a sigh he started to put the food back in the bowls and this time managed to get past the door and into the exhibit. The little kittens ate the food with pleasure as Alex stepped out of the enclosure to get something to help with the bump on his forehead.

She walked to where the exhibits where. She smiled as she came across the lions. She just got here not so long ago, but instead of unpacking she wanted to look at her animals that she would be taking care of. Lions. They've been her favorite animals for a very long time. She loved them since she was a little kid. She was even going to get a tattoo of them, but she figured her favorite flower might be a little prettier and more appealing where she ended up getting the tattoo.

She unlocked the first door to get behind the exhibit with her keys. She walked in and saw the mother lioness with her cubs. She wondered if they had a male lion, but she dismissed it quickly seeing how cute the cubs were. She walked over and kneeled by the cage. The mother lioness got up to sniff the bars which held her in the cage she was in smelling Jenny's hand. She smiled at the lioness and laughed a little as the little cubs began to play and attempt to climb on the cage wall. The mother lioness just yawned and went to lie down again. Jenny got up and sighed seeing that they were running low on water. So, she went looking for a hose...though she couldn't find it, so she went looking for someone who might have known where to find it.

Robin jumped as she heard a loud clang. Her head whipped around the the exhibit, thinking that something had gone horribly wrong. Sighing in relief as she saw all owls accounted for and fine. Looking around, she saw a guy grab the food, place it back in the bucket, enter the enclosure. He had probably hit something as he fell. Her brown, green and blue flecked eyes watched him exit the exhibit. She slowly approached him. "Are you okay?" she asked

Aurora was making sure that she didn't have dirt on her at all. She then walked out of the bathroom. The red head girl looked around. She saw a few people gathered around the tigers exhibit. She had a few minutes before her lunch break took place. She decided she would tell them a bit about the tigers. She walked over to them and smiled. She felt the necklace, that held her card on it. It had her named on it, and her job position. "Here we have the tigers' exhibit. Ace there is the father of the two little cubs." She smiled down at the little kids looking at them with excitement in there eyes. "Flare, the little make that is pouncing around, is the one that livens up the family." She turned around, looking at them. She rolled her eyes and sighed when she saw Flare pounce on Sarah. She looked back at the group, "And the little female that is getting bit, would be Sarah." She told the crowd as they were amused by the animals. Her break was coming up. She waved good bye to the people, and walked off.

Alex turned his slightly dull blue eyes to focus on a girl near him. "Mostly, yeah. I just need to get an ice pack." he sighed softly, a small smile forming on his face. With a wave to Robin and the words "My name is Alex.", he walked off with one hand covering his red forehead. His feet brought him to the infirmary where he was handed an ice pack quite quickly. With a thank you to the nurse he walked his way back to his exhibit, looking at his watch again with his free hand. Holding the cold ice against his forehead he watched as the three kittens devoured their meals.

Robin smiled and watche him leave. That was a short conversation, but hey they were at work. She cracked her knuckles and headed back to the owl exhibit. She stepped inside and whistled lightly. She was wearing thick gloves so the owl's talons wouldn't pierce her skin. As the owls swooped down she waited for one to land on her arm, then placed it in it's cage. Once she rounded up all three birds, she left the cage and headed towards the show area. She saw some of the zoo visitors stopping and pointing at her as she carried three cages of owls through the zoo. She grinned as she heard the announcement over the speakers. "The swooping owl show is starting in half an hour! Be sure to get your tickets and seats soon before it's sold out!"

Faylin

_________________________________________________Faylin barley heared Dean when he asked what had happened, but she glanced up and saw one of the panda's and her eyes softened. "I tripped when I was trying to get Nate to stop playing with his food." She said in response walking slowley over to the fence that was closest to the fence near him. "Is she alright?"Fay asked her voice filled with worry as she watched the young bear, the other two seemed fine but she was just laying there like something was wrong. A strand of her har fell into her face irritateing her, but Fay just let out a soft sigh and pulled the rubber band from her wrist tieing her hair back so that it would stop falling in her face. Biting her lip she placed her hands on the edge of the fence but before she could say anythng else claws raked her jean leg. She glanced down and saw Jacob looking up at her with a queastion written clear on the young pup's face. Well you play with me? Fay just smiled and laughed softly rubbing him behind the ear. "Go eeat your breakfest right now, I'll play with you all later." She said to the pup who jumped back onto all for paws and raced back to were the meat lay. She shook her head and laughed lightly then glanced back over at Dean.

Dean smiled with a sigh, relieved. He had thought the blood on Fay's jeans was her own. At her question, he glanced back over at Dew, who had yet to move from her spot underneath the tree. He sighed, giving a concerned shrug in the bear's direction. "Honestly, I dunno. She's not usually like this." He stepped slowly back over to her, hoping to get her to react, now that her siblings were enjoying their bamboo snack. He knelt down at her side, rubbing her neck first, then her belly. His eyes widened as she still didn't move. Dew hated when someone rubbed her belly. But now? She hadn't moved a muscle. His eyes widened, standing back up. "Oh yea. There's something wrong." He bent over, picking the panda cub up, who hung limp in his arms. He raised an eyebrow at her as she flicked her eyes open, annoyed at being moved from her spot. But, even then, she didn't make any movements of protest. He sighed. "You know where the infirmary is? I'm kinda new here." He managed a smile, although his eyes weren't happy in the least. His first week here, and already one of the cubs was sick.

Robin leaned against the artifical rock wall in the owl cage. She watched as the birds flew and flew and flew. She wondered if they would ever get tired, but they were kids and full of energy. Wondering how it would be like if she ever could fly, she day dreamed. Minutes later, she cupped her hands around her mouth and imitated an owl call. Night, flew down towards her, screeching in reply to her. She tilted her head back and smiled as the owl flew around her.

Faylin

_________________________________________________ Faylin ran to the entrence the wolf exhibit and exited. "I'll show you." She said in a soft sweet voice her eyes watching the poor little animal. "Is that one Dew?" She asked rembering when they had brought the little cubs to the rescue center. They had been abused at the zoo they had lived in and know lived here in a rescue center. She unlocked the door to the exhibit and opened it for him. "She might be sick, unless...." Fay trailed off wondering if the poor little Panda was hurt. Her eyes were a soft gentle grey as she looked at the cub as Dean held it in his arms. She heard the barking of some of the wolf pups wondering were she had gone but her attention was locked on helping Dean and the Panda.


~I've been reading a few of ya'lls post and thought I should tell you this is not a Zoo roleplay this is a Rescue Center, so no shows or anything like that. I'm not mad or anything I just want ya'll to know that.~
