After a few minutes of staring into what seemed like a distance space he snapped out of it when he realised that Ryder? Was that right? He hadn’t talked to her that much but she seemed to be somewhat interesting. It made him curious about he and he wondered when he could talk to her. Seeing as she looked directly at and raised an eyebrow he couldn’t help but smile back at her. Not bothered by the fact that she had caught him staring at her. Truthfully he only looked down for a second to make sure that he didn’t drop a glass on the floor then looked back at her before he noticed that she had gone back to work. Tilting his head slightly as he continued to clean the glasses he looked at what she was wearing for a few seconds before smirking a little then looking down. He hadn’t talked to her that much and really he thought it was good if you got to know your colleagues, have a good time at work. It was proven that things actually worked better and faster when you were friends with your work buddies.
Looking up at the clock for a few seconds he smiled a little, glancing around the room for a few seconds before looking back towards her. There was just something he couldn’t put his finger on, something about her and it made him just want to get up and ask her what it was. But then he would look a little odd and probably confuse her. Thinking for a few seconds he smiled a little as a small idea formed in his head, most costumers seemed to be happy right about now and he could probably afford a few minutes of a break to have something to eat. Picking up two muffins he got out a tenner and paid for them before moving over to the table that Ryder seemed to be cleaning and placing a muffin in the centre of it. It might have been a little confusing to her but he really didn’t mind. Taking the muffin he had in his hand he sat down at the table and looked at her before taking a piece of the muffin in his hand and popping it in his mouth. It was a little bit of a silent invitation to sit down with him and have something to eat, a free meal? He knew some might turn it down but he wondered if she would. Looking up at her he motioned to one of the other chairs at the table for her to seat in. “Muffin?” he asked the corner of his lips turning upwards slightly.

When Ryder looked up again, Ian had disappeared. With furrowed brows, she glanced around before seeing him in a booth munching on a muffin. It wouldn't have looked too weird if it weren't for the other muffin he was gesturing for her to have. Slowly she made her way over to the table; she glanced around before sitting down next to him. She grabbed the muffin, and before she tore off a piece and threw it in her mouth she said I hope this is for me because I'm going to have it. As soon as the muffin piece hit her tongue, her taste buds went wild. It was the best muffin she ever had. She'd lived in this town long enough, but apparently not long enough to have tried their muffins. After a few minutes of silence, she turned to Ian and smiled. Thanks for the muffin she told him, gesturing to it.
Ryder watched Ian for a moment as he continued to eat his muffin. He had shaggy hair, but it wasn't too long, and he was dressed casually like her. She had to admit he was quite attractive - she knew now why most girls drooled over him. But she wasn't most girls. She didn't drool over guys, even if they did look like movie stars.
Sighing softly, she adjusted her high pony tail and then her pink tank top. Her outfit consisted of what she always wore- hats, tank tops, shorts, and either vans, converse, ro her combat boots. Today she was wearing this. Her hat was in her bag because she had to put her hair up, but it was pretty much the same. (( Sorry it's so small. I don't have a lot of muse today
))

As the young man looked at the others he was with he couldn’t help but smile when he saw May smile at them, tilting his head to the side he ran a hand through his short blonde hair and grinned. As he glanced down to see her dog Zoose it only made him want to get a dog himself. Maybe a big dog, that way it might be funny if he pretended to scare people with the dog. But he wasn’t really one for scaring others, that was mean in his opinion, even if it was funny. As they seemed to be making their way closer to the Café he couldn’t help but grin as they neared it. As he heard May ask a question he turned his head and looked at her thinking about it a little, “If you ask around others would probably know more about it but I think there might have been, except something must of happened because no one was building there so they built something else on top of the local spot” Bradley answered hoping that, that answer gave her enough information about it, even though he wasn’t completely sure himself. “That right Dem?” he asked turning and looking at Dem to see if he was right or not. Bradley wasn’t really one to say why questions were odd but that one got him a little curious as to what had brought on the need to ask the question, then again it could have been a mistake but you never know and really he wasn’t sure if he should ask or not. Though seeing as she didn’t seem to say anything after it for a few seconds he thought it must have been a one off question.
As he slowly seemed to finish off his muffin he nodded at Ryder telling her that it was in fact meant for her. It was one of the reasons that he was here, it was nice to talk to some of the others that he worked with, especially since that most of them seemed to be busy. He had a break now so hopefully Ryder had a break too but he was never to sure with the amount of work that people seemed to be doing. “Nice?” he asked a cheeky smile on his face since he hadn’t really met a person that didn’t like the muffins they had served here. But he was all for the new experience type of thing, just a matter of when that new experience would come. Raising he eyebrows he smiled a little “No worries, thought that if I had a break someone else might at least enjoy a break as well. Not to mention a muffin in the process.” He continued looking at the muffin’s paper outline before looking at her. Leaning back in his chair and stretching his arms out behind him he looked towards the door for a few seconds before looking around the room, it wouldn’t be much of a break but it was worth it. Just a few minutes to sit down and talk to someone, eat a muffin. To him that seemed pretty good, personally Ian thought that the whole fancy thing was a little to fancy for his liking, not that he would let anyone else know about it.
Twisting his head so he was looking a Ryder he flashed her a quick smile. “Nice outfit” he complimented her as he got a good look at what she was wearing. It was nice to see that some people were wearing color since all he really had in his wardrobe was dark colors, navy blue, black, light grey… maybe he should go shopping for some new clothes. He was never one for clothes shopping though that was probably because he couldn’t really decide on what he should actually do when shopping. Blinking a little he smiled at her before looking up to the corner as the door opened. He started to wonder who would come through the café doors now.

Alice nodded with a very slight grin. "Good choice." she commented, walking over to the counter and grabbing a chocolate muffin. Her gaze wondered over to Ian and Ryder, she couldn't help but smirk. Ian was totally hitting on the girl, it was obvious. She walked back over to the customer and sat the muffin down on the table. She walked over to her Uncle and gave him a hug. "Hey John." she greeted. He gave her a pleasant smile and hugged her back. "Hello, Why are you working? Your not scheduled today?" he asked her. She just shook her head. "Just thought i'd be nice today, jeez." She said, walking away and sitting in a empty booth as she waited for more customers to come. She could see her uncle with a hurt expression on her face, maybe she put a little to much sarcasm into her tone when she said that...

Delaney Jane Smith
. Shut up and listen to music .
When he finished the song, I grinned from ear to ear and pushed up my glasses. "You've got what it takes kid," I informed Kyle. His voice is pretty good and he knows his way around a guitar. He's definitely not a wannabe! "You hear we got that new recording studio?" I asked half-heartedly. I think that he could make it big, but I do not have a good opinion of that Miss Piggy. She flaunts her wealth and if you couldn't tell that she is a big time producer then I'll be darned if that's not the first thing she tells you. Moneybag's sudio is going to put all of our local shops out of business. My record store, the instrument store, and all of our musical places will have signs in our windows if we don't get much business soon.

As the girl walked down the street toward her store she noticed a little record store. With a smile she walked in, waving to the other two people and beginning to look through the records. Hopefully they had the uncut version of "We Salute You" in store. The version she had purchased was cheap and pathetic. Echo could feel a bit of tension in the air and wondered if she caused it. She had agreed to going out with her brother and best friend tomorrow, the feeling of joy bubbled through her.
Her sunglasses were distracting her, so she pulled them down. Doing so she revealed her eyes, which were done up with beauty. Rarely did Echo put any makeup on for day to day activities, besides eye makeup of course. They were her favorite feature.

May nodded a bit to the answer Bradley had given. The face she put on obviously showed her running through some thoughts in her head so she didn't see the dip in the sidewalk, lost her footing, and ended up on her but. She grunted from the impact and winced slightly. "Concrete hurts." She grumbled, rubbing elbow and knee before checking her camera. She definitely did not want anything happening to it. Smiling in relief, May checked herself out for any injuries. Her knee was skinned and suspected that her bottom would probably be bruised and that just made her shake her head. Re-positioning her glassed on her nose, she looked up at her two companions and smiled. "I'm a pretty clumsy person at time." She stated before the sky caught her eye. May had a knack for photography among other things, so when she leaned back slightly, a perfect picture formed in front of her eyes. She ended up laying on her back and scooting herself over a few inches in the middle of the sidewalk. A sign was hanging partly in the shot, as were the tops of the buildings beside her. Then the sky made up the background. She snapped the shot, but took a few moments to look at the sky. She smiled and glanced at Bradley and Dem. "Habit." She said motioning towards her camera before sitting up and dusting off the back of her shirt. Zoose took the opportunity to dart towards her and cover her face with licks, his tail wagging excitedly. She laughed and gently pushed him away, wiping the dog slobber from her cheek onto the shoulder of her button-up shirt.
._Kyler Summers_.
Kyle smiled when DJ grinned and leaned the guitar on his leg, before stretching his arms up above his head. "Why thank you. I take pride in my singing and playing skills." He smirked a bit before clearing his throat again. When she mentioned the new studio, Kyle nodded. "I know. But I haven't found the ah, motivation to go?" He spoke it like a question. He really wasn't sure if he should even dream about being a musician. Sure, it was something he really wanted to achieve but with his family all thinking he would eventually own their family pharmacy, it was kind of hard to say he was going to go out into the world and try to do something he had little chances of succeeding in. He had decided to wait until he graduated from the university for the time being. When Kyle heard somebody enter the record studio, he glanced up and recognized who it was after a few seconds of thinking. "Ah, speak of the devil." He said before lifting half of his mouth into a smile. Of course, he didn't mean devil literally, as he was just stating a common phrase.
(I was wondering if it would be a good/cool idea to make a form for May's arranged fiancee just to spice things up a bit in Corkstown? XP)

call me Ryder
i am a girl
i have no crush
this is my outfitThanks Ryder replied, in reference to his comment of her outfit. In truth, she probably should have worn something better to work, but hey, who cared. She had grown up in this town, knew everybody, knew who or what they were going to become probably before they even did. It was a cycle, kids following the footsteps of their parents. It's what was expected of them, and they were supposed to follow that unsaid, yet official, rule whether they liked it or not.
Well, Ryder had no plans in doing so, for she didn't want to stay in this small town. She wanted something bigger, something better; something crazy. She needed a life that satisfied her adventurous, and sometimes rebellious, streak. If she stayed in this town, she would always be bored, always wondering what she could have had if she only just followed her heart. Yeah, she knew that saying was cliche, but in this situation, it was true. Her heart was telling her to chase something else, something out of this small town. And she would.
She knew some people in this town had hopes and plans just like her, but didn't end up following through with them for fear of the unknown, of something unplanned and different. And now, as they lead predictable and safe lives, they always wonder what could have happened, what would have been. Ryder didn't want to live in a state what if her whole life. No, she wanted to be happy and content with the life she was living. She didn't want to end up like some people here, though she had sympathy for them.
The ding of the cafe doors brought her back to the present, as she realized she was still sitting with Ian. Glancing over at the doors, she wasn't surprised to see some regulars come in. Glancing back at her companion, she shifted slightly, getting more comfortable. Her blue eyes flickered to Ian and stayed on him, watching him for a bit. After a moment or two, she finally spoke up. So were you just bored, curious, or what? She asked, gesturing to them sitting together, and him buying her a muffin. Raising her eyebrows, her eyes stayed on him, questioningly.

Looking to where Bradley was walking as he thought he heard someone fall he turned his head behind him before spotting May on the ground. A small smile appeared on his face as he saw that she had in fact fallen over from the dip in the sidewalk. He was probably used to the dip seeing as he had basically lived in the town his whole life. Not to mention he knew the town from the back of his hand so everything he did seemed normal or somewhat average. “Well that’s one way to find out, want a hand?” Bradley asked a small smile on his face as he extended his hand out to help her up.
In his opinion he thought that it was the gentlemen thing to do but he listened to her as she continued to talk about her falling over and her clumsy-ness. Really he wasn’t bothered by it but he was quiet fine with what people were going to do just he wasn’t fine if they hurt themselves. In his mind the characteristics of a person made them individual and unique. Really he was quite happy to see what each person’s special characteristics were. One of May’s seemed to be clumsy, it made her look cute and he was happy when he realised it. Watching her he could see that she had a knack for photography, he was never good at photos, taking them to be exact. “Cute habit then” Bradley replied a small smile on his face. When he saw her dog start to lick her he couldn’t help but smile and laugh a little.
Hearing Ryder reply to his compliment about her outfit he couldn’t help but smile in reply. What he was wearing seemed to be nothing much – a white shirt, black jeans and converse. His jacket was over near his bag but he wasn’t wearing it because it wasn’t that cold. Especially with the sun out and all, but he had heard that there could be a storm rolling in late this afternoon. Storms were nice, but they could be damaging sometimes though it all depends on what the weather report said about it.
Glancing behind Ryder for a few minutes he spotted Alice making her way to the back and if he strained his ears to listen he could faintly hear her talking to someone. Thinking back to who was actually working in the café he couldn’t help but draw his mind to a close. Wait wasn’t the boss meant to be in sometime soon? Maybe he was already in the café? Ian might of just been paying no attention to what was going on around him. Really he wouldn’t blame himself since he had been distracted lately. Especially with the exams coming up at the university, if he screwed up an exam or two he could potentially lose his dream job. Not to mention the way his family would react to it, they’d tell him what a disappointment he’d been to them and how he had messed up with the family name and anything to do with the family. They’d really want nothing to do with him, but Ian could deal with that. Just he’d probably need some time to think about what he’d be doing later on if he did fail as he really had no back-up plan.
Coming out of his thoughts as he heard the bell ring meaning that some people were in the café he blinked slightly before looking at Ryder wondering if she had said anything while he was off thinking. He couldn’t help it but a smile appeared on his face when he heard her talk about why he had asked her to sit with him and eat a muffin. “I just simply thought that it would a good chance to talk to you, or am I not allowed to talk to you Ryder?” he asked jokingly. “Besides would you say no to a free muffin?” he continued raising his eyebrows as he asked it.
