Jadyn snapped away from her thoughts as soon as she heard a deep voice who's owner came from above her. She looked up and got up from the step she had been sitting on while looking out of the skyscraper. Jadyn listened to Dawn's comment about a 'sorority' house and held back a sudden smirk. She dusted herself off from the small particles of grit from the skyscraper and nodded her head. "Sure, I've got nothing better to do." She said. Jadyn really did need new clothes. Though hers weren't as worn out as Dawn's, she still needed them since hers were beginning to fade in color and were starting to get ripped up. She needed a few, maybe three or more shirts and a couple of pants or shorts. She looked down at her prized Reeboks which were incredibly dirty. They were her only shoes except for her dirty converse and it was her birthday present from her mom before the flood.
Jadyn's eyes wandered to Isabella, Nic, Byron and Samuel. Even though she was in the same gang as them, she wasn't as close to them. She wasn't really close to anybody, but she was fine being alone, but she still did want to be friends and have friends. Jadyn's relationships with people were all built on trust, which crumbled down like a old, unstable brick wall. She never really trusted anyone now not even the people who she had been closest to, except her mom. Jadyn was a mommy's girl all her life until now, before her mom died. Her mother loved her with all her heart. Though Jadyn didn't get what she wanted and was still disciplined, she always thought of herself spoiled and lucky to have such a mom. But now, she had no one, no mom, no family. Just Evermore which was her life now. She would defend it from any insufferable Infinite gang members and try to defend her gang mates even though they could probably defend for themselves.
Jadyn looked around the room once more before letting her blue eyes flicker back to Dawn. She knew Dawn more then the rest of them, but she wasn't any closer to him as she was to her chatting mates. She had a cold-hearted side to her which she usually gave people and it made people usually back away from her. No one ever seemed to bother to break the ice that covered her soul and personality. Only person had cracked it once, but then the crack froze again. It was her former best friend who had died like most people did in her life, in the flood. Jadyn wasn't complaining though. She was lucky enough to find a gang which took her in instead of fending for herself. She would've died in a snap.
