lana’s mother would not let her drive herself to the camp. instead, she had to have a nanny drive her. lana was kinda of angered at this, but she would soon be at camp anyways so it didn’t matter much.

once she arrived, she got all of her stuff out of the nanny’s car. she didn’t know where to go, but she looked around at the cabins to see if any were yellow. she eventually found the yellow girls’ cabin. she walked in and out her stuff in it.

once finished, she walked out of the cabin and headed towards the camp center to find out who’d she be bunking with.

jordan had said a goodbye to his dad. he felt kinda bad leaving his father for the summer, but he knew his father would find someone to spend it with. jordan quickly changed the subject to his internal conversation not wanting to think about who his dad would be with. he started walking towards the cabin with his duffel bag in hand and guitar on his shoulder.

as he was nearing the red boys’ cabin he spotted a girl who looked like she was rushing towards a cabin. he walked a little faster, hoping he could introduce himself and at least have one person to start off talking with. ”what’s the rush?” he asked the girl.

With a small turn, his eyes looked over a woman that was a bit shorter than he was. Simon gave her a once-over before giving her a coy little grin, tilting his head slightly, his earring on his right ear dangling a bit. "Depends, who's askin'?" He chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't have anything purple in his wardrobe; so he had a purple bandanna hanging from his pocket instead- so scouting him was slightly harder than normal.

"I'm only joshin' ya, sweets" Simon reassured her, the coyness dropping to kindness. "Simon's the name; Counseling is the game. I see you're on purple team as well." He observed, raising an eyebrow.

Giving a small gasp, Mallory clutched to her bag. She was rather relieved when she saw it was just another camper; but she gave him a playful glare none the less. "Don't sneak up on a girl like that!" She held her bag with one arm, and playfully smacked his shoulder with her other. Even if she just met him, she treated him like she knew him for ages. Mallory did this with everyone she met; to help herself and the other person feel more comfortable.

She moved a bit slower, but still at a fast enough pace that she would get to the cabin quick. "I just need to put my bag down, is all; some heavy stuff in here." Mallory hummed, not sure if she could fully trust the other with her secret friend inside the bag. Thankfully, the rodent wasn't moving as much.

emilia looked up to the man. ”oh, i-uh.” she got out before he spoke again. she laughed a little at his joking. she looked him over as he spoke, trying not to be noticed. ”well, i am emilia, and yes i believe i am your co-counselor. at least, that’s what this list says. and yes, i am aware i look like a camper.” she said, laughing a little afterwards. she adjusted her stance so she didn’t seem too awkward.

jordan laughed at the girl’s gasp. ”that takes the fun outta it.” he said still chuckling. he was happy the girl had reacted like that, since it helped make an instant connection. he would certain he and her would most definitely get along.

jordan walked with her hoping she wouldn’t think he was weird. ”do you need help carrying it?” he asked politely, but also not wanting to imply she couldn’t do it herself. ”also name’s anderson, jordan anderson.” he joked around.

Simon lowered his sunglasses a bit, looking at her with his bright blue orbs. "Hey, no worries, sugar," He hummed softly "Pretty sure you and I are the youngest counselors around," he laughed bit, placing his hands on his hips. "Pleasure to meet ya', Emilia." He stated, giving her a wink before pushing his sunglasses back with his index finger, giving a small smirk.

"Wanna take a walk around camp with me?" Simon asked, tilting his head a little once more; he kinda looked like a puppy. "We do still have some free time, after all,"

"Oh, uh-" Mallory side-eyed her bag before shaking her head with a chuckle. "No thanks, Jordy," she stated, already giving him a nickname. Doesn't matter who it was; if you met her, you were getting a nickname.

"Name's Mallory Squire; I would shake your hand but I'm not trying to drop this bag," She chuckled, cradling the bag carefully as they began to approach the cabins. "....You ain't a snitch, are ya?" She asked him in a quieter tone, raising an eyebrow as she leaned towards him to ensure no one would hear her. "Cause I dunno about hanging with snitchesss." She said in a teasing tone, laughing a bit.

After being cleared to disperse; Courtney found her attention drawn over towards the Docks. It was a rather sunny day, and she figured why not catch some sun-rays while she had time? Her stuff was already away in the counselor's cabin, considering they had all arrived the night before. With a swift movement, she tied her poofy hair up in a pony-tail and began to head towards the docks.

It didn't take her long, considering her quick-walking and long legs to help her. She grabbed her sunglasses from her back pocket and placed them on, going to one of the chairs and just...lounging. Of course, she'd check on the kids on her team momentarily, they were all probably still getting acquainted. But right now? Sun-bathing, baby!

Nicholas hadn't gone too far into the woods; just a little bit a ways away. It was cool that he could get outside and look at the scenery. He was such a sap for these kinds of things...no pun intended. However, before he got too intrigued to go further, he decided to head towards the Camp Center. He wanted to know if there were any activities that would maybe include going into the forest. Maybe some leaf-collecting or something- just any type of excuse to be out there.

As he was enraptured with his thoughts, he bumped into a girl, stumbling back a bit. Nicholas's chest filled with slight panic. "Oh, man, I'm so sorry! I should've been paying attention," He stated, frowning a bit. Thankfully, the force wasn't enough to knock either to the ground, but it was a pretty forceful bump to the shoulder.

As soon as he possibly could, Benjamin headed towards the cafeteria. He was rather excited to begin prepping meals for the kids at the camp. He was sure they'd be super hungry by the time lunch rolled around, but he had a few hours before then; so he had time to roll around some ideas of what to serve. Of course, he was given a specific 'menu' of sorts to follow...but it wouldn't hurt to give some more options for the kids, right? Plus, it would help him sharpen up on his baking. It's been a hot minute since he had baked for such a large group.

So, with a determined mind and even more-so determined hands; Benji got to work on prepping meals and baking some goods.

emilia looked at simon’s eyes and thought i wish my eyes were that blue. she stopped staring and answered, ”yeah seems that way. well, i mean it does give us a leg up with the campers, and the pleasure is all mine.” she lightly laughed trying to hide the red tint that had graced her face after simon winked at her.

“that sounds swell.” she said with her english accent dominating. she started slowly walking implying for simon to follow. ”where should we go first?” she asked holding the clipboard a little tighter to her chest.

lana suddenly stumbled a little. she rubbed her arm that was hit. “no, no. you’re perfectly fine.” she said smiling. she replaced her footing to make sure she didn’t fall. she also adjusted her skirt to make sure it didn’t ride up.

”well, where were you going, handsome?” she flirted. she did a once over of the dude. he was cute in the nerdy type of way, but still cute.

”life’s no fun when you’re a snitch.” he laughed. ”but no, i ain’t no snitch.” he assured. he looked over her shoulder to the bag she was carrying. he thought does she have contraband? he dismissed the thought.
