Kendall always got up early, finding it the best way to make sure they made use of the full day. After all, they couldn't write if they didn't have inspiration, and they wouldn't get inspiration unless they were out and about. At least, that was how things worked for them, anyway. They were already ready to go out - it didn't take them too long, just a quick shower, drying off, carefully drying their hair, and then getting dressed. They figured that they could go and find some hidden cafe to get breakfast, often preferring to eat at the hidden gems within the city. Paris was certainly large enough for there to be so many, Kendall was certain that there were plenty that they hadn't discovered yet.
Pulling a denim jacket over their shirt, and putting on a pair of comfortable, casual walking boots, Kendall was pretty much ready to leave. First, they checked their bag - a messenger-style bag - for their phone, a portable charger with a charging cable, wallet, and a notebook and pen. Then, they picked up their keys from the counter, and left the apartment, locking the door behind them, and then leaving the building.
Outside, Kendall started to walk. They didn't really know where they were going... well, aside from being away from the main touristy places. As such, it wasn't until they'd been walking for about twenty minutes before they'd found a cafe that they hadn't been before. Pushing the door open, Kendall greeted the worker behind the counter, and took a few moments to check out the menu.
Merrick Pearce|Transmale|20|bisexual|tag(s): Open
Merrick sat quietly by the lake of the park he was in - the beautiful Parc des Buttes-Chaumont. It was large, and he knew there were definitely larger parks in the city, but this was probably his favourite. The lake... the waterfalls... the architecture around the park. It was just the kind of place that he could imagine working on a new piece of choreography or something. Not that he'd do that much, the ground wouldn't be quite suitable for ballet. Perhaps if he did some contemporary work... he quietly brushed the thought off. He constantly thought about working on his dance, even on the days he didn't have classes. But, he also felt that he always had to be dedicated, and work hard until his dancing was up to his own standards.
It still felt like he was in a dream, really. He still couldn't quite believe that he'd managed to get into the ballet school. He really hoped it was for his own talents and skills, and his proven dedication and abilities, rather than for the 'diversity points'. Last year, he'd played the role of the Prince in the classic ballet of Swan Lake, which he'd thoroughly enjoyed. It'd been an intensive four weeks of performances, and most of them were sold out.
Anyway... Merrick stretched his arms out, then stood up carefully, holding a fair bit of grace as he did so. Then, he started to walk, just wandering around the park. He didn't really have anywhere particular in mind, but he hoped it'd let him just relax... at least, in the way that he liked to relax.
