Description: A 6 foot tall male with a darker brown, medium length hair. Sometimes spiked, sometimes down. Usually seen in a t-shirt or a plaid shirt with jeans and leather boots. Eyes are brown, and usually seen with a rope across his chest for just in case situations.
Name: "I'm Ryce, Ryce Dartsity that is."

Personality: Kind, humble, awkward, and a superior expert in being accident prone. Friendly, willing to step in when help is needed, helpful. Probably clumsy.
Strengths: A natural with horses, seems to 'speak' with them. Giving advice and instructions on riding and training horses.
Struggles: Accident prone, previous injuries (broke leg 2 times from horses, a previous dislocated shoulder, venomous snake bite, and kicked in the side to a Ken the worst), streaks of what he claims as bad luck
History: His father is Duke and his mother was Sharon. He was an accident as he was born when his parents were 16/17. They took turns staying home to care for him and it worked well. Dusk had married his mother as soon as possible after that and they started a life, the three of them at a ranch. When Ryce was 3, his mother was diagnosed with cancer. Less than a year later, she passed away. He wished he knew he, but he survived. His father would train horses and own a summer camp which Ryce helped and learned everything he could. At the age of 21, his father gave him his own horse, Anaconda. After the initial training for Andy was compeleted, he searched for work outside of the family ranch. He decided Oak Winds would be the best place for him. A few months later, he traveled down to work.

Personality: Andy is a very gentle and sweet horse. He has ground manners and riding manners. Fast learner, listens well, and does best to accommodate his rider, which is usually Ryce. He is very much a loner when it comes to other horses, due to his past.

History: Born to his owner's ranch, he was raised well and taught manners by all his handlers, trainers, groomers, and any one else who interacted with him. He learned fast of what to do and how to behave, becoming a nice young colt by his first birthday. By his second, he would accept the bit, saddle, and all tack with ease and was great by himself. After being trained the most basic neccesities of being ridden by the age of three, he was given to his trainer and his owner's son, Ryce. Ryce was excited and continued to teach Andy, deciding to transition him from his English beginnings to a more suiting Western. Ryce grew up in a western saddle and preferred it over the English saddle. The problems with Andy come in before his first birthday, when he was roughly 7 months old and brace enough to wander away from his mother. On one of these wanderings, the colt broke out of the pasture they were enclosed to. He would venture around and find a few other horses. One was a young stud in the cross-ties, and another was an older stallion being lead around in the yard. Andy was curious at the time and went to say hello to the stallion in the cross-ties. Little did he know that the young horse would squeal and attack him, causeing the other stallion to be put in a spook from the sudden banging of buckets getting knocked over. In the end, Andy was nearly hurt by the two horses and was in a panic attack when he got stuck in a corner with the two studs fighting. No physical harm came to him, but he now has an unrational fear ornate other horses and requires distance from other horses, but is fine in a stall usually.

Description: (The flaxen horse in my sig) Polish Arabian standing at 15.1 hands is the medium chestnut colored mare, with a lighter tail and her mane a bit lighter than her tail. Two half stockings on her back legs and a sock on her front right leg. Four black hooves, and a blaze on her face, going over her nostrils and under her maw. Usually a bit on the underweight side.

Strengths: Well with beginners since it is rare for her to bolt with other horses and her slow pace. Follows really well, listens when proper bit is in her mouth, friendly to people
Struggles: Spooks almost every time she is tied up, going partial blind, slow and stubborn, pulls back a lot, puts her head up when trying to tack, falls asleep a lot, tries to run off a lot
History: Rodeo was bred and trained on a breeding farm in Iowa. Her owner was a well known and respectable breeder of Polish Arabians. With high bred lines, she was planned to be sold for riding instead of breeding since her dam and sire were both great in show. She proved quite well and sold for a quarter of a million dollars. After being sold as a 2 year old to her new owners, they start training her in her under saddle skills. She proved to have a soft mouth and sensitive to hard bits, but unresponsive to soft bits. After some trial and error, she was fully trained by 6. At the age of 7, she was competing regularly and sold again. This new owner traveled from show to show, lacking in horse care, but still providing enough for Rodeo to stay healthy. A little dust and dirt never killed anyone. After a a spook to kids jumping out of bushes, she injured her rider without intentions. She was found to be in the right, since she was scared by the children. Unable to afford her with all the medical bills and lack of shows, she was sold off to the barn to be a barn horse.
Discipline: English (excluding racing and dressage) and western (more for pleasure)

Ross grew up on a farm, so horses are his thing. He's been riding since he was 7, and hasn't stopped. Being from Texas doesn't help either, but neither does growing up in Alabama. His horse, Dasher (barn name, in photo), has been with him for three years now. Ross has grown such a strong connection with Dasher that they are almost always seen together.
