After choosing which bedroom that she would like for the remainder of the trip, Dakota began scoping out out the rest of the huge beach house, so she began becoming somewhat familiar with where everything was, and in search for others that may have arrived. The strong scent of the ocean was overwhelming to her at first, as she was used to desert land, considering she was born in Colorado, but it was slowly become a usual smell, like it was when you entered a house for the first time. Retreating out to the porch in the back of the house, she took a seat on one of the benches and sighed, pulling out her phone and scrolling through the messages she received in the course of her departure from her small town.

Catori wheeled her two suitcases inside the beach house, going up to one of the many rooms. She chose the one at the very end, nearly getting lost just walking down the long hallway. She opened the door slowly, hoping it was empty. Catori shoved her suitcases into the nearest corner of the bedroom and left. There was time for unpacking later. Catori trailed her hand gently along the walls and walked downstairs, trying to memorize where every room was. She was definitely going to get lost later, but eventually she'd get better. Catori normally had a good sense of direction, but it took her a while to get the hang of it in unfamiliar places, including huge beach houses. Catori noticed someone on the porch and she went outside. She waved in a friendly kind of manner to the person.

Dakota tapped away at her phone as she replied to the majority of the text messages, before switching over to a game that she had downloaded on her phone during the duration of the flight. It wasn't that entertaining of a game, but it was enough to keep her occupied for the time being. Lifting her gaze to see a shadow of someone behind her, she used her hand to shield her eyes from the bright sun and turned around just in time to see the person wave hello. Giving the figure a faint smile, she returned the wave and got to her feet reluctantly.

Catori saw the person wave back, and also give a small smile. She didn't exactly smile back - Catori wasn't the most friendly of people - but she did walk over. She was feeling too bored to pass up a chance to talk to someone. Catori figured she might as well make a decent enough impression if she was going to be living with these people. She made a mental note not to be too sarcastic when first talking to her housemates. "Hey," She said kind of flatly, strolling over when the girl got to her feet. "I'm Catori."

Leon had just gotten off his flight. He had been living in Florida for the last few years. He fond California very different than Florida. He had gotten a taxi to take him to this new house. His bags all at his side. He didn't even know why he had sighed up for this. He wanted to finish college and soon. He had to quit work also to come here. The taxi soon pulled up to the place he would be living for the next three months. As he got out of the taxi his shoes dug into the sand. He walked over to the other side to get his stuff. After he had gotten everything he paid the driver.

Dakota raised an eyebrow slightly and the person approached her a bit more. When the girl, Catori, introduced herself, she nodded. Her name was surely different, surely something she hadnt heard before, but she wasnt one to talk as hers was typically a boys name. Giving the girl a small smile, she nodded again in greeting. "Im Dakota." She said after a short while.

Catori glanced at Dakota and noticed how she had raised an eyebrow when she came closer. Catori resisted the urge to make a snide comment and inclined her head towards Dakota. "Nice to meet you, I guess." Catori glanced around boredly. "Is anyone else here, or is it just us two so far?" She fixed her bandana again, as it was tied rather loosely and kept slipping from her hair.

"Hello?" Gavin called out, his voice echoing in the house, "Is anybody here dead?" He called out again to amuse himself.
He chuckled lightly as he walked around. Finding a large room with a small bathroom attatched he strolled in dumping his bags on the bed. In an empty corner he set up his guitar stand and placed his electric guitar gently in it. He then opened up his bag and took out a small speaker box then placed it next to his guitar on the floor.
Gavin didn't waste time feeling out of place in this room, he quickly dumped all his clothes in the dressers and after a quick, satisfactory look, he left his room to search for more people.

Dakota turned her head and looked out towards the beach once more, shrugging. The girl behind her wasn't exactly giving off the vibe that she wanted to talk to her, let alone be at the cottage. "I haven't seen anyone else yet, but some others might be arriving are in the house unpacking." She replied simply.
