cleavesdale: a small coastal town where everything is ordinary, a fairy-tale town where everything could be described as just cookie-cutter perfect and not a care in the world to be shed...but its not. A series of chained murders of teenagers and young adults across the village has caused outrage and shock and with clouded vision the inhabitants have taken charge of the situation, the once strong bond that was shared between them has been broken, not knowing who to trust people have been shutting doors on their neighbours and have turned bitter and sour towards one another. The once peacefulness of the town has been disturbed and the students of saint paul-brookes may know a bit more then their letting on, the events force a group of teenagers to work together as each of them may have found potential clues to solving the case, but will it bring them closer together or just tear them further apart?

{just a little message - i had this idea while reading looking for jj by anne cassidy, the book really doesn't follow the plot line of this rp exactly as it just centres around one character really but it is a great book and id really recommend picking it up as it kinds gave me light inspiration for this rp. Im really sorry if the little intro doesn't make the most sense, the plot is mainly just pretty cliche: small village, unsuspecting murders, a group of teenagers are put forward as suspects all having some sort of relation to the first victim ect. and i guess thats where you come in. I have created character roles but im gonna leave them pretty open to do your own thing and as the rp goes on the rp will (sadly) gain more victims which leaves alot of space to welcome new characters, so if you have any personality ideas please let me know! id be happy to talk about them with you. The victims will most commonly be a non-playable person who i just make up but if anybody also has any ideas for possible victims or would like their characters killed off please let me know. The overall plot is that each character has had relations to the first victim in some way, whether they were the best of friends or have been chosen to be partners in a project, and have been left subtle clues to find out who the murderer is, they must branch together to try and solve the crime, pretty basic i know. I hope that everyone will enjoy this rp and again if anybody has any type of suggestions pleasee let me know! it would help a bunch, im gonna stop rambling and go into it now}

12. plot twists are very highly encouraged but if your planning a major event e.g killing off yours or someone elses character please pm me & the person your rping with before hand

the victim - abi collins: abi was a friend to the world, she was an extremely friendly girl who was definitely on the higher end of the school feudal system. she was extremely athletic and was always looking for opportunities to explore new things. she moved to cleavesdale around 9 months before the incident happened and made an effort to keep her past hidden. she was 16 while the incident happened. the incident happened around three weeks prior to the current setting.

the queen bee

___ is the stereotypical queen bee of the school, yes the school may be small but it still maintains the normal stereotypes. pretty and wealthy: they're the pinnacle of popularity and was abi's best friend, they were inseparable and often mistaken for siblings. before abi's disappearance the pair shared a pretty heated argument. ___ believes that somehow it was all their fault for the incident and they could have prevented it.

the football star

___ is basically a carbon copy of the queen bee. they're captain of the football and basketball team, popular and could get anything or anybody they wanted, seems perfect right? ___ and the queen bee have had on and off relationship but they always come running back to one another because they're "so in love". ___ and abi were great friends and they started to develop feelings for her but would never admit it to himself or anyone else.

the sibling

___ is abi's elder sibling and of course has been absolutely torn up by the murder. while they were away at university the once close knit relationship they once had started to drift further and further apart. a partner soon came into their life and when abi strongly disapproved of them, an argument broke out between the two and they accused of jealousy and abi accused them of much worse. a weird energy hung in the air between the two of them ever since. when the inevitable heartbreak happened they wished that they could go back in time and apologise..but sadly actions have consequences

the vengeful
one of _____ secrets of many was that they had hated abi ever since she stepped through the door. they knew it wasn't right as they really had no reason too but the green-eyed monster works in mysterious ways. they had seen abi as competition, they were known as a goodie two shoes and teachers pet at school and while they consistently got good grades abi seemed to always be that one step ahead. they're pushy parents were constantly comparing them to her and they were sick of it, they were bitter and they wanted revenge.. abi's disappearance was just a coincidence, right?

the childhood bestfriend
ever since the bell rang for their last day of primary school together _____ and abi had slowly but surely drifted apart, but while abi moved on with her new life _____ was left behind in the dust. they promised to write to each other every day but as time went on those daily emails and texts became weekly and those weekly texts because one sided with only ____ bothering to even reply. on the off chance a conversation did pursue abi cut it short, her excuse always that she was busy or had to much work to do. _____ took this as that she wanted to terminate the friendship and held a grudge ever since
