Why?

When I went to post my form to join a RP, I got a message saying that I have to wait for my post to be approved.
I am guessing the pictures I used are the problem, but the pictures I used are ones that I made using a character creator that I know someone else used. I don't know why my post is the problem.
My other guess is that the image sharing website is the problem. I used photobucket, my own account on photobucket, I also know that someone else used photobucket.

So what's going on?

I only had that happen to me one, and that was my very first post. And it took a long time for that post to be approved. (I don't know why for the first time either.)

Is this just a normal thing? If the problem is either of my guesses please tell me.

Your first post always has to be approved by the mods. It keeps out spammers and trolls and such.

Also, all pictures are being checked at the moment that aren't CS images because of a troll. So even if other people have used an image from those places, it still gets checked. Theirs had to also. Blacklisted websites on the RP boards is normal, so once everything settles back down, there still be some pictures that have to be checked. Blacklisted sites can still be posted after they have been cleared, so just seeing someone use an image from there doesn't mean that it won't take approval.

I hope that made sense. I'm speed typing because I'm about to go catch my bus... ^^;;

I understand blacklisting sites, I was just confused.

They can't say what is and whats not but I am guessing it's not because I used it yesterday but If it doesn't work you can also use Tinypic

I always post pictures from Tinypic and I have never had the message to say they need to be approved...

It should only be a recent thing, like in the last few weeks. Lemme test it out. It might have already been removed.

edit; both seem to work [though that may just be because I'm a mod, not entirely sure]. You may just be posting from a blacklisted site. I have no idea which sites themselves are blacklisted though, so no help there. Just make sure the images you use are either free to use, or you have permission to use them. ^^

So the the pictures from Tinypic and Photobucket no longer need to be approved?

I tested it on here and it shows that pictures from photobucket still need to be approved.

Can anyone tell me another place were I can upload my pictures to use for RPs other then TinyPic, PhotoBucket, or dA (I'm not aloud to have a dA account.)
