Trading Off-Acct pets for On-Acct pets

Are you allowed to do that if both sides are content and if the side getting the Off-account pet(s) understands the limitations? Since we can trade things from other websites for CS pets I wonderd if such a thing was possible on CS.

The original adopter does have access to the HTML and forum codes, which they could transfer to the other person.

but anybody can get those and claim the pet. All you'd have to do is go through ID numbers and take the codes that you want and say "This was my old account name".

I'd say it's fine, but both parties have to understand exactly what is going on. While such trading is officially discouraged, it's not against the rules.
