Ok, I know what a UR Tiger is.
I know how much it's worth.
But... I want to know, when was it relised? Why was it relised? (I know it wasn't a monthly pet)

And well I'm here, I might as well say, why was the smile-face pet relised? Why does everyone treat it as almost a rare of sorts? (I can't get anyone to trade it.)

The UR tiger dog is one of the unreleased pets (UR), so it is only released on the 18th of December. You have a small chance of adopting a UR pet instead of a rerelease on the 18th from the big box.

The smiley is hoarded by many people since you can put items on it and make it disappear so you have your favorite items for a pet practically, so the value of them is very high. Not to mention, everyone could only adopt one, so many people don't trade their only copy. I'm not sure of the month, I will check quickly. It is from April 2010.

The cucumber is another UR pet, so it is under the 'special releases' category.

Malk made it and released it because people kept asking for it I think. I don't remember the full reason behind it.

For the smiley, in the month that it was released Malk didn't release any pets on the 1st, and in her pet area she just put an image of a smiley and 'Sorry, no pets from me this month'. However, the Adopt button was still up, even though there was nothing to adopt, so people tried to adopt the smiley (which didn't work) and lots of people posted about how they wished they could adopt the smiley itself as a pet. After a while, Malk actually did make it into a pet because so many people were asking about it. X3
