Word censoring?

^^So, what is it?
I mean, when you go to your account, there is a button that says 'enable word censoring'.
My account--->Board preferences--->Edit display options.
I didn't think that you were allowed to swear on CS, so what is it?

It isn't allowed but it is set just in case someone does swear.
