I will say, a lot of traders on the forums prefer to trade for high value pets. This ABSOLUTELY doesn't mean nobody browsing wants to trade for commons or whateves, high value pets just have a bigger audience! So that could be one small reason.
Also, DEFINITELY agree with Takora Drakan up there ^. If I see a lot of groups that aren't obviously for trade, or god forbid not for trade at all, I tend to get overwhelmed or annoyed sifting through the pages and just skitter away to look for somebody else.
The BIG thing I noticed though, Is the title of your trading post! "lf: trades!" is VERY bare-bones, and will either blend in or get drowned by the titles that are more detailed and/or eye catching. I suggest adding emojis/symbols, and being more detailed with what trading with you will be like! Things like the kinds of pets you have for trade, how many pets, if you are a very easy trader, and what you are especially looking for, are some options to add to the title! Of course, there is a character limit, but I suggest looking around at how others are titling their posts for inspiration!
Another thing you could do is spice up the actual trade post some more. Making it overly fancy and decorated could possibly intimidate, but having little dividers and pngs/gifs here and there that feel fun and welcoming can make trading with you feel more exciting and friendly!
There's my two cents. Hope it helps ya get more bites!
