Is it against site rules to make fake cs pets?

Basically making our own custom cs pets using the sites art. I’ve thought about this for years. I may already have my answer but I would rather ask a get confirmation. I have dabbled in tracing the pps cat an making something obviously fake. I never posted it anywhere because I figured it would get flagged a taken down. If I had I would not be claiming it was a real pet. This will be an interesting learning opportunity for anyone else curious.

It's okay to make fake pets by adding a "[username]'s pet" bar to your own completely original artwork, but tracing, copying, or editing official CS art is against the rules.
