Website not reachable

Since the beginning of the year, I get more and more ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT in regards to chickensmoothie. It happens without rhyme or reason, and also very randomly. The problem usually resolves itself within 24 hours, but I get this error only with chickensmoothie, no other website.
I have not “complained” sooner because it is not that big of a deal on this website if it does not work for a day for me, but since the easter event started, this is incredibly frustrating since I cant properly participate in the egg hunt.

Windows networks diagnostics say the internet is configured right, but the website (chickensmoothie) is not reachable.

Yes I have reset my router and checked my settings, nothing seems to help to prevent this outage. Yes I have manually reset my IP. Its ridiculous that I have to go such great lengths to reach to access the website, when I every other website I visit or service I use works without a hitch.

According to https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/chicke ... e.com.html the website is up.

It makes me really consider stopping buying C$, since those purchases supposedly go towards servers to guarantee the site it stable and reachable, but if chickensmoothie continues to lock me out from accessing the site due connection errors I have no influence off, I have to stop buying C$ because I can not interact with the site reliably.

sounds like this is affecting a decent amount of users and has been for a while. I hope there can be an answer/solution soon

It happened now again (around 13:00 CS time); I had to manually flush my DNS and manually restart my router. It is disappointing that the problem is neither being acknowledged or being worked on.

Could it maybe be a location thing? Country maybe? I have seen a couple discussions on this issue but I have never experienced this!

At 0:50 CS time it happened again, but I decided to go to bed, as of 11:54 CS time, the website works again for me. Not sure what happened in those 10 hours. I think chickensmoothie likes to fetch a new DNS every 48 hours, hence why it happens so frequently. But takes then awfully long time to accept a new or purge the old DNS. As example cloudflare can propagate a DNS typically within minutes.

I've been having something similar for a while. I'm actually on the site right now with a free vpn that I have on my antivirus software (and I only get like 5 gigs a week so I probably can't use it for very long lol). The last time I had this problem was on Sunday, I left my house for a few hours and it was working when I came back, but it started happening again today and it's been unreachable on my home network for the past several hours. If I use a vpn or switch to LTE on my phone it works fine.

I don't know if there's some kind of issue with my DNS, but I tried manually configuring it on my phone and it didn't work. The provider I have uses CGNAT, which means it shares a public IP address with multiple people and changes often (every time the router reboots, I think?). At first I thought that maybe everyonce in a while I was getting juggled to an IP that someone else got banned from CS at one point, but my mom rebooted our router earlier tonight and it didn't fix the issue. I'm really not sure if it's on my end or if the probem is with CS, but clearly other people are having the same issue. I've seen people on that other thread that was linked say they also have a dynamic IP, so it seems like that may be related to the issue.

Very frustrating, especially on my PC since the only option I have is to either burn up free vpn data or use my incredibly slow phone hotspot.

At 21:20 CS time I got once again the ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error, restarting my router fixed the issue this time.

I personally have never experienced this so I am unsure of the cause, but if this continues happening I would recommend sending in a help ticket so that staff can assist with troubleshooting. :)

This happens to be from time to time, for an hour or two. Hasn't happened recently, but I hope the root cause is found.

Happened today again at 12:32 (CS time). Asked my friend from Germany if they could reach the site, but they go also the ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error. After I restarted my router I could access the site again.

I have already sent a help ticket months ago, but it is frustrating that it keeps happening when events on CS are happening where you need to collect banners.
