What is "guest" users?

Hi I was following an oekaki artist but now they are a "quest" and I can't view their profile.

"Guest" posts are posts that have been anonymized and are no longer linked to the account that posted them. This can be done by request and usually happens when a user no longer wants a post associated with their account, but the post is considered important to the community and/or potentially problematic to fully delete, such as on adoptable that another user owns and may still need access to.

The account itself is not anonymous and the user may or may not still be on the site. A post having "Guest" as the poster just means that that individual post has been anonymized and doesn't indicate anything about the status of the account that originally made it. Sometimes users who are leaving the site opt to have their posts anonymized before they go; other times the user is still active and has simply chosen to remove the post from their account for one reason or another.
