why do certain pets not exist ?

when i try to find pets with the id 3-30 it says they don’t exist :0
viewpet.php?id=3

does anyone know why this is? i would assume they were deleted but… at such a low number, i would also think they would be on tess or nicks account rather than someone who would delete them

Yep these were deleted. Hard to know why! Back in the beginning of the site there were no adoption limits so people often adopted pets and deleted the ones they didn't like or had too many of. It is also possible they were deleted by Nick/Tess themselves while testing things.

^ yeah I’m betting they were tester pets that were deleted bc they were only spawned in to make sure the ids, images, growing etc all worked fine :0

pet 1 does exist, tess still has them! but agreed, i’ve typed in early numbers out of curiosity and figured they were just deleted by staff testing or early users adopting a large amount
