I'm brand spanking new to the game and genuinely wondering about aging system- does a pet age up a age every day? Or every week? So far assuming 1 age = 1 day

Yes, the age shown on a pet's page counts how many actual days old the pet is. So for example, this puppy that was adopted on the 1st of the month is currently 9 days old (0 days old on the 1st, 1 day old on the 2nd, etc.)
