Lights on lights off question , trick or treating

I haven't done lights on lights off in years and just need a refresh!!
I'm pretty sure when I did it last we private messaged people with our trick or treater asking for tricks or treats.
I saw on the home page there's a thread for it with people putting their info there?

Could someone please refresh me on the rules/how to do it this year? Thank you!
and is there a certain form we are supposed to use??

hiya! i'd recommend taking the time to read through the front page on the main forum, as it would help answer some of your questions and give you the form to use directly. <3 but in order to participate, once you read the rules, you can post a form there of your trick-or-treater. then, after being reviewed, you will receive a pm from a lolo moderator that you've been accepted. (make sure to put "lights off" in your siggy before then! i got denied one year because i forgot to put lights off in my sig before being accepted)

once you've been accepted, you can then go through and play the game! when you turn your lights on, you will receive pms of people's trick-or-treat stories. you can then decide whether to trick, or treat them!

and when you want to go trick-or-treating yourself, look for a user that has 'lights on' in their signature. then you can go ahead and pm your story and the pet it goes with! you will receive either a trade or a pm in return from the person depending on your outcome.
