Who’s to blame?

Real question, if someone is discussing a trade and accidentally sends it as “accept” rather than “edit”, and the other person accepts:
Say it’s a big loss, maybe they sent the trade specifically to be edited, and DID send a message explaining that, without any pets on the other persons side, and this person accepts the trade and refuses to give them back…
Who’s to blame here?
Essentially: is it your own fault for the error in setting up the trade, even if it’s known that wasn’t your intention? I’ve had this question for awhile, because I’ve nearly done this to myself, and have always assumed if I’d made that mistake, and the other person just took the pets and ran… well, there’s not anything that can be done.

I’d love to know if there is anything that is done about this or if it’s simply “user error” and u just need to be more careful/aware of what ur doing essentially.

so if you have a message clearly stating that you want something in return, otherwise not saying its a gift pretty much, then if they do accept and refuse to give it back you simply contact a mod and they will reverse the trade for you
in otherwords- the person who took the pets and ran is to blame
