I want to make a contest for my Pokemon CS related Discord, so that users could have there emote represented in the community. Is this allowed for me to give away CS prizes for pokemon related emoji art?

hope this answers your questions;

you may absolutely pay for art of already existing pokemon designs or characters.
you may not however, pay for a new pokemon design/character.
i will advise you briefly, that it might not be a good idea to have a discord emoji making competition for pokemon-related emojis, as there are already a lot of pokemon emojis out there, so it'll be very difficult to scan for original creations/watch for art theft.

You may not sell premade designs or create custom designs for any type of payment that are based on copyrighted media/someone else's intellectual property. This includes creating new or fusion designs meant to exist in someone else's unique universe (example: Pokemon).


• This does not apply to generic creations such as natural cat or dog adoptables attributed to a specific universe, as those concepts are not unique enough to be protected by copyright of their own accord.
  
• You may accept paid commissions to draw someone else's already existing character that is based on copyrighted media as they are paying for the art, not the design.
